You're asking hundreds of thousands of people to all of a sudden stop an activity, one in which the feds have been trying to stop you from doing for quite some time (and to no effect). It's not going to happen. Of course, legalization normally leads to lower user rates, better treatments for addicts of hard drugs, and no black market for drugs. All of which are substantially better then the alternatives. | ||

Because it is legal, the supply and demand for the horn is at a a rate which can be controlled. Thus, hunters don't go out wildly killing the rhinos to extinction because the price of the horn can't be competed. In summary: Illegal stuff=Higher prices to sell item to offset the "danger" from the law. | ||
