Well you can help support legalization which will in turn help take down Mexico's drug cartels. 70% of their income is from the sale of marijuana yet their weed is pretty bad in quality. I can guarantee that most smokers prefer NOT to smoke Mexican old, seedy, brown weed.

Most, if not all my weed is grown by licensed growers in California because I pickup from a guy who pickups from a club that gets all of its weed from Santa Cruz or Humboldt.
It's not hard to recognize the lower quality Mexican weed and I normally never buy it :p

I also only by my marijuana from local (Washington state & Vancouver B.C.) growers. Generally we never encounter mexican weed here as it's renowned for it's low quality (Ever heard the term "Mexi Brick?")
My choice to smoke effects no one but me, and so no one should be able to tell me that i can't smoke if i want to. It's much less harmful than cigarettes anyway.

I have a hard time believing that drug cartels would be taken down by the legalization of marijuana. If you think it's just a matter of removing the supply...it's much more than that.

I'm from the Illedelph man, and MJ here in general sucks and is really expensive. You must have a good dealer. Since I'm a college student and I have a lot of friends from Cali, I so much prefer nug from the West Coast cuz they get it shipped here and sell it to me at a discount. You lucky West Coast mofos with your higher quality kush and cheaper prices.

I wrote an 8 page research paper about this so I'm not really pulling stuff out of my ass. There is no doubt that the cartels' profits will greatly drop with the legalization of MJ in the US. Like I said, 70% of their profit is directly from the sale of MJ. That is possible because of the illegal drug market. The fact that MJ is illegal in the US makes their huge profits possible. I never said that this will eliminate all of the drug cartels btw.

Actually, that is a big chunk of the problem.
USA is one of the most educated countries and yet is the world's biggest drug consumer. If you guys actually stoped, or at least be average consumers, the market would crumble, mexican drug prices would hit the ground to a point it would not even be viable to sell anymore, and without money for weapons or henchmen, this sad war would be over.

I just got a new bowl yesterday. My old one, a Brontasaurus shaped piece named Littlefoot (always going after those tree stars...) passed away a few days ago after a mishap involving a plastic toothpick and some scissors. Christened it last night, but I need to get some glass screens to avoid pulling through.
