It is like an undercop offering someone (who has a drug problem) in a common dealing spot drugs, the guy clearly says "No, i have a drug problem, so i dont want any drugs thank you", the cop keeps pushing it and pushing it and pushing it until the drugaddicts breaks, then jailtime.

in that particular case the guy clearly stated that he could only hurt him so he should keep away and they shouldnt meet, the fake kid kept pushing it.
