Been listening to nothing but this album for the past 3 days. It's funny how different song takes turn to grow on me. I wonder if Lose Yourself to Dance could have made a better lead single as it's catchy as fuck, I could have it on loop for eternity

Also, highways br4v3 4 r341 h00g3 b4llz. PS: To the above, there was a leak out several hours before the Itunes stream. It was on Reddit and other places. Since it was only 192 kbps it may have been an 'intentional' leak to build hype.

Usually when listening to music I really enjoy I get an eargasm when I listen to it the first time, so this is quite a different experience. Giorgio is truly a masterpiece! In that case I feel better about being at that meh stage >_>

Is there a higher quality download somewhere?

I got the iTunes aac plus version from New Zealand store (which makes sense as it's May 17 already there). It has a higher-volumed, sharper (but also more "grainy") sound than the reddit leak

I'm going hipster and saying I loved it the second I heard it. As in, one of my three favorite albums of all time. Now I've listened to it more, and I love it even more. This album is like Dark Side of the Moon. From start to finish, it's an experience I will NEVER forget. Give Life Back to Music (10/10) - Outstanding intro. The Game of Love (9/10) - Weakest song of the album. And I fucking love it. Giorgio by Moroder (10/10) - First mindblowing song of the album. Within (10/10) - Sad, depressing robots connect to my soul Instant Crush (10/10) - Instant classic. Can't stop smiling when I listen to it. Lose Yourself to Dance (9.5/10) - Great, groovy song. Goes on for 1 minute too long. Touch (11/10) - Goosebumps when the trumpets start playing, tears falling when the violins come in after... Get Lucky (9.5/10) - Another great song. Needed more robot :D Beyond (10/10) - The opening is like being at Disneyland when you're 5, and the rest is just sexy Motherboard (10/10) - Like I'm on an adventure and I find something that scares me at first, then I realize it's okay. Fragments of Time (10/10) - This song is like looking in the past and loving it, while still moving forward in life. Doin' it Right (10/10) - Surprising bass hits, but I loved the combination between Panda Bear and the robots. Contact (11/10) - What is this song? At first I thought it was about contact aliens, and then I realized something. It's about coming to terms with who you really are, the moment you are dying. When I realized this, I started thinking back to the rest of the album. Holy shit. It's all connected, and in perfect order. And then I started the album over. After listening to the album at least 25 times now, this is my personal take on what it all means Give Life Back to Music - I've been reborn and life is amazing. Starts off with a bang. The Game of Love - You (Life), I've been here before, and you got away. And I miss you. But I'm glad I'm back. Giorgio by Moroder - Finding my way through life. Breaking down 'what should be and what shouldn't be' and realizing that life is what I make it. Within - I am so confused going through life. This is the first time I have really thought about life and death. Who am I? Instant Crush - I'm a teenager now, and it's the first time I've held hands with a girl. We've confessed that we like each other, and we can't stop smiling. Lose Yourself to Dance - My first middle school dance. The first time I really let go of myself, and I dance my ass off. We're all dancing our ass off. Touch - I'm a bit older now. I'm with a girl and I touch her leg, she holds my neck. It's amazing, and I remember this feeling from somewhere before. But I want more. We kiss *stars go off*. I realize I am in love and can't hold back my emotions anymore. We're lost in each other as we can't stop kissing and touching each other. The night is over, but I want more. I need something more than just ...touch... Get Lucky - It's time. We're moving beyond just touch. Life is amazing, and it's time to have sex. It's magical. Beyond - I'm truly in love. 'The perfect song is written with silence' I have found the one. We can lay together for hours in absolute silence, just staring into each other's eyes. Motherboard - I'm moving through life at an incredibly fast pace. It's an adventure. It's building and building, but I am afraid of getting older. The fear builds and builds, until I realize that getting older is not scary. I relax. Fragments of Time - I am much older now, with children. I see them experience things that I remember experiencing. It's overwhelmingly nostalgic, and I can't stop loving life. I look back at the past with a smile, and look toward the future with an even bigger smile. Doin' it Right - I've finally come to terms that different people move to the beat of their own drum. Everybody is moving, but we're all doing it right. We're all living properly, because there is no wrong way to live. We're doin' it right. Contact - I'm nearing the end of my fantastic life. I look back and can't hold it back anymore. I love everyone and everything, but I'm in fear of death. It builds and builds as I get closer and closer to it. I am overwhelmed by my fear, until it all stops. I calm down. Death is here. I'm okay with it. Silence. Time to move on to the next life. Then it all starts over again ![]()

Assuming you're talking about the prevalence of popular electronic dance music (EDM): -Tron Legacy soundtrack was (mostly) not EDM -This album is not EDM -Daft Punk has been popular since Discovery (2001), and even before then to a lesser extent
