This isn't even bringing into account that weed has been proven to bring out psychosis, psychophrenia and schizophrenia in certain people. I know for myself personally I had a few episodes of psychosis when I smoked too much, lost track of reality, thought things were happening when they weren't/misread situations. I don't just mean being slightly paranoid either, I mean actually BELIEVING things are happening, that the situation is actually happening for real. It's not fun...at all, and from speaking to others who smoke they have told me similiar things.

Where does the "If I can't have it, nobody can!" mentality come from?

Ive always felt that Weed is actually "legal" like sure you cant smoke in the middle of the street here in Australia But smoke weed at Home and no one is going to bother you.. Sure I didnt like all these rules like 10 years ago when I was in high school but now I sort of agree that people that cant handle their highs should be arrested ![]() Only good thing about it becoming legal would be that maybe a price drop. You chose to be a lazy idiot and now you seek to abdicate responsibility for your choices by blaming cannabis. You're not arguing anything.

EDIT: This response if for you Calin! That Study didn't test people before they smoked did it? It says day 0, 1, 7 and 28 were when they did intelligence tests. That list though..really? I bet none of those people smoked that much weed, I know Bill Gates and Steve Jobs took acid too, but were they really heavy users? Doubt it.. Plus, im not really disputing their intelligence regardless of whether they smoked or not. I'm saying that I 'feel' I'm not as smart as I use to be. They're all intelligent people, but that's not proof that they weren't smarter before they smoked weed is it?

When did I say I was the lazy idiot? I never said anything about blaming cannabis either, I take full responsibility for my choices, but without weed I doubt I would have had these experiences..that's what I'm arguing.

They're all intelligent people, but that's not proof that they weren't smarter before they smoked weed is it? I think you're wrong, but it's irrelevant when talking about legalization. Alcohol kills you. Smoking kills you. Prescription drugs kill you. Bacon kills you. Assuming the worst, marijuana makes you lazy and less smart. Given the amount of deadly, legal substances out there, that is not a basis for prohibition. Point two, is that it being illegal is doing nothing to stop it from being used. In the recent study that has been thrown around this thread a lot talking about pot smoking lowering teens IQ, it also statse that 7% of high school seniors smoke weed EVERY DAY. If you think that pot being illegal is preventing it from being smoked, you're wrong. All its illegal status does is put those same kids in close contact with people who also sell heroin.

EDIT: This response if for you Calin! They weren't habitual smokers. Almost everyone has tried marijuana before, but they did not do it normally throughout their lives. The one thing I hate about smokers: they think that smoking makes them more intelligent because they "open their minds" which is a bunch of bullshit. This list you have here is just stupid, it's like saying Obama did cocaine and look he's the President now! They experimented with it, like 95% of people do.

Don't be a dumbass, you don't go to jail for smoking some weed..unless you actually are a dumbass and keep so much weed on you that you look like one of the biggest pushers in your area, then yeah. But honestly, if you're gonna argue don't put words into other peoples mouths.
