Already have the Note 3 and my plan doesn't tick over until September which should be after the Note 5 is released.

+ $20 / month unlimited talk/text, unlimited international text, "cheap" international talk
+ $10 per GB (really $1 per 100 MB) data, national and international
+ wifi voice, nice if you work/live in a building with shit signal
+ tethering
+/- Sprint & T-Mobile networks (at the same time, will pick the best of what's available at any given point in time - but this also means no verizon)
- invite only rollout
- only works on Nexus 6

- I'm unclear, US only? I don't know

Any Cyanogenmod fans in the house? Rocking CM7 over here and it is all of the things I look for in a modded OS: snappy, stylish, low-profile & non-buggy. It's great!

Wow, that's some seriously old software.

I recently upgraded to 12S, might go for 12.1 nightly soon on my OPO. Just rooted it so still looking at all the features I just unlocked.

No it's not normal.

The Nexus 6 might have hardware that allows it to auto-switch between three networks or that they may just want to start off with a relatively small number of customers to make sure everything is running smoothly first.

For anyone using CM, try use Cyandelta, beatiful app that downloads CM updates as little packages, checks what you are missing of the next Zip and downloads only that

Worth it when the OTA is not working (Which for me its like always lol)

Would that help with a CM11 to CM12 update? I've been hesitating to update because I'm too lazy to wipe the phone.

Working on multiple networks (including CDMA + GSM) at the same time, switching between them seamlessly, is quite unusual (even for Europe, it is not done).

The rest of the offerings are very competitive for the US, but are kind of laughable compared to a lot of places in Europe. But bear in mind that a lot of US customers are paying like $70-$90+ per month to Verizon, so...

There is a good cost comparison here, if you want information on the sorry landscape of USA's phone network (don't even get me started on the sorry landscape of USA's high speed internet):

I pay 80-90 dollars (considering change), for 3.5gb data plan and 700 minutes, unlimited text.

I would get that for about 50 with google

My god this sucks

Ouch that hurts, I pay 20€/month for 20gb data, unlimited calls, texts, and MMS. International calls to most countries are also unlimited.

S3 has been getting laggy lately, wanting to give it a new coat of paint. I've always used stock TouchWiz but thought I'd look into putting CM on it.

Turns out, Verizon S3 on 4.4.2 has a locked bootloader. What in the actual fuck Verizon.

I do not sorry actually ikarus gaming is kind of a gaming company around these parts of the globe...

I remember when i had to pay $200-250 dollars for my Moto X 2014, on a 1.5 year old contract, phone itself can cost about $700, the Galaxy S6 about a $1000 dollars without contract
