I guess the needle doesn't move too much election to election. Obama is going to carry Maryland by 10 points and nothing has suggested otherwise. Somtimes states flip a few points here or there but with some states thats just not going to happen especially if there has been 0 hints of it happening all cycle.

Especially considering the heavily populated counties don't seem to have been counted yet.

Going off the CNN Electoral Map, if Obama wins Florida he'll have 266 Electoral votes with NV, CO, IA, WI, OH, VA and NH still up for grabs.

The fact that Flordia is so close could mean that the polls were right all along and if the polls were right then Romney is still in a lot of trouble.

I quite like party collapses, party mergers, new parties springing up, etc, etc. I've been fortunate to live in contested ridings pretty much every election year. If lived in Alberta on the otherhand...

If Florida's close to 50-50, it's that much more likely the polls were right. That's bad news for Romney.

If he wins Flordia that means he is overperforming his poll numbers and if he is doing that then there is no way Romney can win. Romney needs to overperform the polls in order to win and if he doesnt than he is just going to lose.
