Also, I'm doing some googling and it appears that... this is going to sound really funny, but apparently after 2010, the 13th district and 4th district were semi merged in some areas in such a way that actually the 13th district representative's residence is no long in the 13th district but rather in the 4th district, and actually the 13th district's representative represents part of district 4 and can run against district 4's representation in those areas, but those areas are still technically district 4, so under the Congress site it claims I'm in district 4, rather than the across the highway district 13. What the fuck. From http://ballotpedia.org/wiki/index.php/Redistricting_in_North_Carolina But Brad Miller was on my ballot and David Price was not, so is it considering me part of the Brad Miller only District 13 then? Since I'm obviously not part of the 4th or 4th/13th hybrid thing, as David Price is actually running for re-election, so he'd have been on my ballot if that was the case. Sounds all very terrible and confusing. I'm glad California created a citizens' initiative for drawing up districts as opposed to leaving it up to politicians.

I ended up with a 303-235 margin for Obama. Romney absolutely needs Florida to keep his chances alive. If Obama can take Ohio, he'll realistically only need two of the remaining 7-8 battleground states. And even if he doesn't, he'll just have to split the battlegrounds and he'll win. I don't see it happening for Romney.

Even giving the Republicans Florida (True tossup), NC (Democrats are as likely to take this as Republicans Ohio), VA (tossup at best for Republicans), Colorado+Iowa+NH (Democratic leaning at this point) they still don't win. Obama has a lot of paths to victory even without Ohio. Romney has essentially none, not to mention he needs to win a tossup in Florida for anything else to even matters. Romney's auto ads in Ohio (basically blatant lies, Obama took GM and Chrysler into bankruptcy wtf, I'd be embarrassed to approve it) and last ditch attempt at PA are signs of desperation. If the polls are all biased and Romney is actually solid as some people here want to believe he wouldn't resort to these things. My own prediction is the same as the one above 303 for Obama.

I just want to watch an electoral college tie so badly. End the election cycle with a fun drama bomb.

Search for it on youtube and watch the full version. Basically, its big oil barons that make 13 million a day. And use that money to buy out politicians for their own agenda. Killing unions, segregating public schools, voter suppression, killing EPA, and a bunch of other shit. They really hate Obama and his green energy initiatives because it hurts there pocket book. Not to mention his blocking of the keystone pipeline, and fuel economy standards. Here in Michigan, we have a proposal on the ballet for 25x25 (25% green energy by 2025). There is a sick amount of attack ads about it. I always thought it was really strange how the republicans attacked Chevy Volts. I can't remember really any consumer product that was politicized like that, car or not.

I get my choice for president, but not VP, with consolation prize of Biden still being. super newsworthy.

Republicans crash the economy, the Democrats manage to turn the economy around but barely due to extreme obstructionism. Obama is said to be "weak" because Republicans plays the "nice country you got there, it would be a shame if something happened to it" game to get what they want. Republicans win off their anti-patriotic tactics and take credit for the recovery and the ability to be "bipartisan", since the democrats are not crazy enough to hold their country hostage for political gain. If this happens I'd truly be sad for the state of America's democracy.

But apparently everything they're pushing for is going to help the average American in so many ways, so go figure. *shrug*
