What is wrong with socialists? maybe some people vote for her because of her more left leaning economic policies, ever thought of that? some people actually think socialism is better than capitalism, like Albert Einstein.

It doesn't matter about Stein's policies - the point is to demonstrate that there is a bloc of voters on the left who want to vote for somebody a little more... hmm... a little more more than obama.

I'm well aware of who Jill Stein is, thanks. She cares, she's stuck her neck out for what she believes in.

Because it is a fundamentally flawed ideology and goes against everything America stands for. We cannot sustain our spending as it is, what makes you think we can sustain even more socialism? Capitalism made America strong, not socialism and not big government.

Think we are seeing why the Republican party is trying so hard to block Gary Johnson on state ballots.

"You mentioned the Navy, for example, and that we have fewer ships than we did in 1916,” Obama said. “Well, Governor, we also have fewer horses and bayonets, because the nature of our military's changed."
copied from the fox article.
Not sure what kind of thought train you have if any but I don't see how that statement isn't factual. And I really don't see how it insults our troops. Think about how stupid you sound. Guy A claims there are fewer bayonets in service. Guy B (you) gets all mad and posts a link that says they still use bayonets.
The only thing you're doing is grasping at straws to find any way to call obama out because your ego is hurt that your candidate is going to lose. You sound ridiculous. I don't even know how you haven't been banned from this thread yet. I would love an ignore user function.

Assuming we haven't read over her political stances on everything before voting?
Thanks for your vote of confidence.

Jill Stein: "I want to sign an international treaty to ban drones."
This is great, someone get the popcorn.

Lol, you asked that guy to listen to how stupid he sounds. Good luck brotha!

Quite frankly, the only reason I'm voting for Obama and not Jill Stein is because by voting for Jill Stein, I'm taking a vote away from Obama and making it more likely that Romney will win. Jill Stein has no chance, unfortunately.
Not that it matters at all, though, since I live in Texas and my state is gonna go red anyway...I really, really hate the USA's voting system. If you're not in a swing state, your vote basically does not matter. I would much rather have popular vote decide who wins.

according to your logic josealtron, you should vote for stein. does way more good than a texas vote for obama
edit: that is, you would not be in fact be making it more likely for romney to win

Sadly the liberals would probably ragequit and not allow such an amendment to pass.

Sorry for reposting something so old, but this is funny lol
But seriously, I dont know how anyone can really consider voting for Romney..he's flip flopped on pretty much every issue; he looks, talks, and acts like a robot; he wants to go back to the same economic policies that caused us to lose over 800,000 jobs a month (which btw means Obama has actually increased job growth by over 900,000 jobs a month since he took office); and he has no idea what foreign policy even is, let alone what should be done about it.
Romney is a complete buffoon, and Paul Ryan is no better. Of course, theyre shackled by the Republican party who hasn't figured out that its not the 1950's anymore. As a country we need to just drop that party off the face of the map, or better yet, add another major party so there is more choice, and it forces the parties to more exactly define where their candidates stand on issues..so they cant flip flop to every different crowd they talk to

No one would allow that to pass because it's stupid.

Interesting comment by Johnson.

Is Swazi actually a troll account made to make Republicans look retarded? I'm getting very suspicious of all the free ammunition he's giving here.

Do you know how many people live in Montana compared to Texas or California? Horrible idea.

No a state with the population of 630,000 deserves the same representation as one with 37.300,000 people. That's completely fair for everyone.
The electoral college is pretty dumb, but a single vote per state is laughable, thanks for your input Swazi Spring.
