Pete Hines of Bethesda Softworks annouced the death of Adam Adamowicz via Twitter yesterday. He was only 42 years old when he died after a long fight against cancer. Adamowicz was a Concept Artist and responsible for designing the worlds of blockbusters like Fallout 3 and Skyrim. His great work and talent shall always be remembered.
For me as a huge Bethesda Fan this is sad news so i thought it might be good idea to share this news with you.
Playing Fallout will never feel the same again ... ;-(

I didn't even know he existed until today, but, based on these sketches, he had quite a bit to do with fallout 3. He wil be missed.

|
RIP! thanks for ur huge contribution to gaming <3
|
RIP Bud. I have spent 300+ hours of my life playing your games and I enjoyed every second. You will be greatly missed.

2.4 people die every second. Chances are a lot of people in their 40's have died in 2012.
|
|
RIP, artists like him will be impossible for bethesda to replace.
|
|
|
Fallout 3 was the game which changed my way of thinking about games, as not merely a fun hobby but rather as an artform. A lot of that was because of this man, whom I've never heard of until today.
RIP brother, you are a true artist.
|
RIP, seriously awful news.

Game development has long an important member.

That's pretty ironic. I literally learned who this guy was just a couple hours ago while randomly for no reason reading an article on Bethesda (was reading the article on elder scrolls first). Hell, I just learned that Bethesda is located in my home state.
RIP.

This man is a LEGEND in the gaming world... Every game he worked on got a 9 Rating
Skyrim, Fallout!!! RIP Forever LOVE!

They do, it's just that those people's deaths don't get coverage.
OT: RIP, the worlds of TES games really were one of their strong points.

JaBrOnI- one never knows what good each person in this world is doing. suggesting people who do "nothing" be taken away isn't a feasable request. I realize i am taking your comment super seriously, but each person in this world is doing good for someone else. Even if its not as much as creating video games, or bringing the joy through music, every person in this world brings joy to someone else. parents, children, siblings, friends.... RIP Adam....

Such talent, just looking at his pieces makes me want to give Fallout 3 another try. RIP.
