I have a plain toe but i'm thinkin maybe i should have gotten a cap toe, and made my brown a plain. What price range/purpose? I see, so they still do look nice enough to pass? As for oxfords I'm looking for the more casual/semi-professional type. Range should be anything below $150.

I'd say so, but you gotta see how it looks on with jeans or chinos or whatever. I'm a fan of Cole Haan personally, ~$120 at macys, maybe nordstrom (if you get it at the right discount) and they have lots of models. But i've been recommended Floorsheim as an affordable brand too. Go tour around the mens shoe section at a departmebt store. Online shoe shopping isnt the same

Or really short spandex, like underwear trunks, instead of swim trunks Depending on how you define "trunks" there's some that are really short that's go ok

Something in between? You might want to get a pair of jammers. They are what I and most people on my swim team wear to practices, as they are both durable and affordable. http://www.speedousa.com/solid-jammer-speedo-endurance.shtml You should be able to find them in most sportswear stores. I'm looking to buy a navy-blue blazer. Can anybody recommend a brand that will last well (i.e. wouldn't look bad in a couple of years) and isn't too expensive (under $200, preferably $150)? Bonus points if it can be found in Toronto. PS Size 38 (tall if possible).

![]() + Show Spoiler + ![]() ![]() I used to only have one that I actually used: the one on the left, the Weekender I bought on recommendation via this thread. Extra strap too. The second Chrono, the D&G I had as a gift but it had a ugly red leather bracelet and I never used it. After I graduated, I decided it'd be time for a watch with a metal bracelet, that I can use every day AND for nicer events. The weekender is beautiful but it didn't cut it. I didn't need an expensive watch, more than a few hundred for a college student is a little silly for me, though I was really tempted by a Seamaster lol. Had to look for a good price range, under $300 though there aren't too many nice things that come in that range. Divers + Auto was the goal, and god damn did I find it. I ordered the one in the middle: the Orient Mako to fill this role because, well, its fucking beautiful. However I was on vacation when it came in, and while in Florida I happened to go into a Movado store and the fourth one caught my eye. It's by a sub brand called ESQ. Now while I knew Movado doesn't make the best watches (1k+ for quartz YEAH) this one looks really sexy in its complication and was something like 80% off. I went ahead with it. Yesterday I had the Orient and D&G bracelets fitted for me, today I post pictures. I'm now in the hunt for a box to keep them in.

However I'm not sure if it's worth the price plus the lens price. I'm guessing for the lindberg the total with lens might come out to around $700-800 and the Tateossian $250-400 Open to recommendations as well!
