On a 3 button jacket, only the middle button should be buttoned. You NEVER button both buttons on a 2 button jacket. for 3 2 roll sure, but otherwise buttoning the top 2 or just the middle is fine, just depends on your choice of look

I pretty much have a general idea of what kind of suit I want to get after reading some of the posts here and http://www.styleforum.net/atype/5/Styleforum_101 I'm kind of struggling with how the fit should be. The current trend in Korea is to wear it very slim/european. I'm a very skinny guy and have broad shoulders for my frame. Although I need to wear a small size for generally everything, most of the time whatever I wear would be tight on the shoulders. Same thing applies with suit jackets. For example, Korean sizes range from 90-115, and I fit in somewhere between 90-95. 90 is a bit tight on the shoulder for me and fits well everywhere else. And 95-100 fits me well on the shoulder but is a little bit big everywhere else. All the salespeople I spoke to insisted that I go with the smaller size stating that the shoulder is suppose to be tight, that its the trend, etc. With that being said.. when I'm getting a suit off the rack, what exactly am I suppose to be looking for in the fit? For example, do I consider the shoulders first? The waist? length? Also what if I decided to bulk up/work out in the near future? If I get a suit that's already tight on the shoulders, it might not fit me if I bulked up a little. What is your guys' take on buying a slightly larger suit in case I decided to work out? If anyone here lives in Korea or has bought a suit here before please give me some advice on buying suits.

If anyone here lives in Korea or has bought a suit here before please give me some advice on buying suits. find a style you like, meaning # buttons(2 is standard), color (navy and charcoal are standard), lapel size (slimmer is more modern), length (shorter is more modern) for fit, the shoulder area is the most important. this is because it is the hardest area for a tailor to alter since they will have to unsew and resew the arms and that's difficult. this means you should have a tailor measure your shoulder to shoulder length and get a jacket that fits just right at the shoulders. that means the ending of your shoulder bone should hit right where the shoulder seam of the jacket it. also have high armholes. also make sure when you button it it isn't tight in the chest, indicated by an "x" forming at the button. tailors can fix it but not if it's way too tight. everything else can pretty much be altered, including taking in the waist, shortening etc. but a tailor can't really make a jacket that much bigger.

price range...£20 or less if possible i know you can pick them up in charity shops, which is where i got mine, but mine has a crumple at the bottom which makes the bottom part stick out or bulge quite rigidly (its tucked in in the pic so you cant see it so much) idk what it is called, maybe some sort of jumper with zip idk ignore the rolled up sleeve. sleeve or sleeve-less is good (preferably sleeve-less imo but that probably doesnt exist.,...) ![]() thanks..
