I went to uniqlo today and got some winter stuff. Their ultra light down jackets are super thin and not practical for really cold weather, but they have warmer outerwear. Fit is good overall, something like in between BR and Express in terms of styling imo. $3.50 for a t-shirt, $40 for a nice fleece hoodie, less than $100 for down jackets and peacoats. No blazers and not a lot of cashmere but overall was very pleased with their quality and price. I thought a long time about getting this http://www.uniqlo.com/us/store/lifewear/men-wool-blended-duffle-coat/078909-08?ref=mens-clothing
but it looked too... asian. I went with a stretch down jacket.

if you get the app you get either a $5 or $20 code (off of $50 tho)

gonna be using that after the holidays to get a couple things

no mention of jcrew for tshirts/hoodies? price and quality are at least as good as express, and i find the fit is usually a bit better unless you really really like express's graphic t's.

for dress shirts BB's extra slim fits are probably the best you can get without going over the top, quality and comfort are far superior to what you'll get at express. RL has some pretty nice fits as well. as always tho, for the best quality/fit/comfort you should go find a tailor and have them make a shirt for you. my best shirts i actually got custom made when i was in hk, and they charged me half the price of what a BB shirt would have cost.

i like uniqlo a lot, the quality you get for the price can't be beat. unfortunately they don't have any stores open where i live.

I'm actually a big fan of j crew Ts. Never worn one though. Probably comparable to everlane, though i'd argue that j crew shirts feel nicer.

Calvin klein sweaters for christmas. Quarter zip with a slim fit and light stretchy material with the jeans to match. Finally have a start to a decent wardrobe

It's hard to find decent T's without stupid graphics on them though, and there's only so many solid colors I can wear.

Got a nice cardigan for christmas, I'm excited for the 5 days I'll get to wear it here in Florida :D

you can get uniqlo plain T's in different colors for $3.50 on sale or $5 regular price. They're excellent quality for the price.

I have to say although I was skeptical about raw denim at first, the pair of unbranded I've owned for two weeks now have turned into the most comfortable jeansI have ever owned.

literally had a discussion on Ts a page ago lol.

i thought about getting unbrandeds for lab work days. ended up asking (most likely getting) for rigid dragons though.

get some higher end denim and you'll feel it moar. my APCs feel so nice. though ive been questioning the cut recently

Recommendations for winter shoes? Looking for something that I can walk in the snow or rain. Durability is important. Price range something not that expensive!

Also I can't seem to find jeans that fit nice. I'm 28 waist but all the fitted jeans are way too baggy. :\ Not interested in skinny jeans either.

Sorry I should have been more specific instead of hinting at what I meant. I'm not looking for any more solid color shirts which is all I see on Everlane and Uniqlo. I'd like some more variety in shirts that I wear through different patterns on the shirt, but it's hard to find shirts with appealing patterns or stripes.

are you looking for boots? if so give a price range and be more specific with style if possible. I recently did a shitload of research on winter boots.

Yeah I think I wanna head to the boots direction. Price range? Hmm..anywhere from 100-200? Not looking to spend THAT much, but at least a decent amount to get acceptable quality.

Something like this? http://lookbook.nu/look/5614989-Bdg-Colorblock-Henley-Pullover-Fossil-Knitted

I love the color like that. The length seems awesome too. Not too fan of the high top style.

Thank you for the help..

don't get timberlands, for under $200 katahdins are probably the best

http://www.llbean.com/llb/shop/81029?feat=katahdin iron works-SR0&page=men-s-katahdin-iron-works-boots-moc-toe&attrValue_0=Brown&productId=1242662

If you're willing to spend a bit more, red wings heritage line are great quality. If it snows a lot then bean boots are your only option. Wolverine 1k miles are dressier boots.
