I get violently angry. Or at least I used to. I didn't have the best teenage years. :/ But nowadays I listen to relaxing music, like Reflection Eternal by Nujabes and just read a good book or something.

Edit: I also benchpress, since there's a bench readily available in my living room.

The whole stabbing / cutting thing is probably not the best way to vent your anger. I would recommend not doing that or getting some help with not doing that. I don't think it leads to good things.

While I am easily annoyed, I actually very rarely get angry, and when I do you don't want to be around. I punch whatevers closest to me. I know its not actually a healthy way to vent the anger, but when I first do get angry, all sense of reason disappears.

Anger feeds itself, making more anger. Self-disciplined mental meditation. Peace comes from within folks. That said, tools can help. Avoid stressors, calm myself, control situation around me or place self into a calming situation. If needs be, I'm willing to use drugs (alcohol, marijuana, w/e), but that's a crutch, and I willingly admit that. However, sometimes I have no choice but to rely on it :p

If I'm seriously raging, I stop, whatever that may be, turn myself off until I have control. After I get to neutral, move forward from that baseline.

Venting is a serious discussion in psychology. What has been found so far is that venting with any sort of violence (even by yourself on a pillow etc) is bad, but listen to music/play instrument and any non violence act is ok.

Training (like lifting) is in the grey area, but many believe it has a good effect.
