I tried to get a maphack on Diablo 2 so i could speed up my MFing, but it didn't work. And i also downloaded a hack called Oblivion for Brood War so i could change my name/name color in battle.net and eventually got my account banned for using it twice, lol. I've never used any preformance boosting hacks though as that would ruin the fun of the game.

Hacking? Never, it doesn't teach me anything about the game and it's just lame.
Besides, it might cost me the game, literally.

In my young C&C Generals days I did exploit a few known bugs here and there before they were fixed, but that's about it.

I used a maphack in D2.

Maybe not a real hack but I used that WC3 banlist thing when I played a lot of DotA. You could drop anyone you wanted so I suppose it was a hack.

At the very end of Diablo 1 I've used Bobafett's fun tool, apart from that never online, I think i've used some cheats on Age of Empires (allhailthequeen?) and Doom (iddqd/idkfa) and Mortal Kombat on the Sega (abacabb).

Not hacked persay but I used to play Runescape alot, and I would use bots which would level my account for me. Having said that, it was on a new account that I created purely for screwing around after putting 5 years of my own work in another account, so I can kind of justify it, as it had little to no impact on other people.
I also used to play AoE, loved using whosyourdaddy ect in that

. In actual multiplayer games though I'm against it, it just lowers everyone else's enjoyment.

Did aimbotting, speedhack, wall hack, no spread... on CS 1.6, because it was really entertaining trolling around. Obv I was young then and I wouldn't do anything now.

My brother and I used a glitch with zerg in broodwar where you could drop other players by making a certain structure (might have needed to be placed in a certain location) , showing vision, and when they looked it dropped them. Anyone remember what it was called?

Edit: Also used the glitch in neopets where you could play dice-a-roo all night by hitting enter to "roll" then leaving a weight on it - would keep rolling for you and you would wake up with copious amounts of items, and usually have more money than when you started.

The results of the pool shocked me a bit, 40% of people is/were cheating thats huge number... I wonder how many people were punished for cheating...

My friend used map hack in warcaraft 3, for atleast week, he didnt get banned... I also remeber my games at wc3 polish wcg qualifier, same friend was sitting next to me on the other pc, and he was observer in the game (I didnt even knew because there were 10+ obs), and I played orc on Plunder and he alarmed me when sneaky push was coming, I was pissed so much, I won the game but I didnt feel good with it and I quit the tournamnet.

not in Multiplayer but many times in singleplayer mode when I was a kid. Such as GTA or even WC3.
Would never use wallhack or maphack. I always wanted to see how it looks but then I watched it on youtube and that was enough for me.

No I have never once used hacks in an online game, friends of mine used to in CSS and it frustrated me to no end. What's the point if you're going to hack? May as well just play vs AI :/
