Clearly this is a trap to make a TL shitlist of people to ban based on that poll. TBH i don't ad block tl i block google/doubleclick tracking which happens to be most of tl ads.

I have a hosts file that blocks ads. Wouldn't know how to edit it to unblock TL specifically, even if I felt like it.

People should consider for a moment that nothing in the world is free. TL has paid staff has to pay to host the site etc. TL needs the ad revenue to continue to run. When you block their primary source of income you are nothing more than a leech.

And TL is not getting rich off of this money. Everything they make they put back into running and making the site better. So if you enjoy the site why would you not support them?

I've actually tried to disable adblock on tl. I did it the "standard" way, by right clicking the ABP icon and pressing the turn of on teamliquid.net-button, and the way mentioned in the OP as well. It just doenss't want me to turn on ads for tl...AdBlockPlus is hurting esports!

You can't really, the hosts file blocks the connections to ad servers which tl uses unless tl is to host it's own ads you can't really whitelist tl in a hosts file. I mean why do we block ads because of sites like hardwarehaven, tom's hardware etc where ads just really are everywhere and really obtrusive.

I dont have adblock, but the ads do not work a lot of the time. I get this:

I like this idea. I never click on ads and I'm not sure how much money TL gets just from me viewing them, but I'd be completely okay with donating and seeing a happy Elly instead of ads.

Not going to lie, I've Adblocked everything up until recently. That damn elephant convinced me to google how to unblock TL.

Also, I clicked on the WASD keyboards ad last night. Boom, look at me contributing.

I did until I saw the elephant. Too cute, I felt so awful for adnlocking, especially since TL ads are harmless anyway. TL is now the only sote where I don't adnlocking.
