My problem is that I can't turn off adblock for TL. I've edited my host file to remove some really annoying ads on other sites i visit. It is the only way I've figured out to block those ads, unfortunately those changes to the host file also disable ads on TL. If I had some way of fixing that I would, but I'm not going to edit my host file just for TL and adblock addons ect don't block those other ads so idk ...

I've never used adblock and I've never been tempted to. Ads just don't bother me at all.

However, after the site changes recently, I feel like every single page lags for a couple seconds before loading. It's starting to drive me nuts, and I think it might be the new ads. I'm becoming tempted to try adblock on TL, but I don't want to hurt elly

Anyone else experiencing this lag after the change, or any tips to fix it?

I honestly feel sorry for people who took the elephant as serious. What kind of humorless world did you grow up in where a crying baby elephant with a headband is completely serious?

Anyone who uses and enjoys TL should disable ad block to help support and keep it running.

Do sites get money when people see the ads or does one have to click on the ads for the sites to get money? I'm just asking because I have never clicked on an ad ever since i started using the internet.

I've never understood why anyone would adblock a site they like enough to visit regularly. Seeing so many people come here as a regular visitors all the while blocking ads, justifying by whatever reasoning makes them feel better about it, is upsetting to read.

We removed the "Don't hurt Esports" thing. It was a complete joke that we thought would be funny. We didn't realize that people would take it serious. I apologize if you took offense.

TL banner is actually small and I can live with it, some sites just have banners in every place, and alot of pop ups, I normally use adblock in them, even if i use the site alot.

I would only like for adblock to recognize users in youtube.

I used to turn adblock off for TL, but after the recent change, some annoying ads showed up, like the "WoW Rage" one. I just can't stand looking at that dude. <_<
Now I have adblock off only for twitch.tv.

Also, I'm currently at the University, which automatically blocks ads. :|

What the hell Naz!? Leave it in!

"Killing eSports" is one of the most widely-used jokes on TL and if you take it seriously you've got problems.

i would consider turning it off if there were no ads everytime you start watching a stream... i mean it's ok when there are ads in between the games, or when everyone gets one so u dont miss stuff... but like this it's far to annoying^^

I have both notscripts/no ads advanced (for Opera) turned off for TL I believe but the elephant still appears anyway a lot of the time. :/

I use to, but then the crying elephant got to me so I disabled Ad Block for this site, but for some strange reason I still see the crying elephant from time to time ._.
