Tilt documentation is just as reliable as tabloids are. The documentary team aren't going to feature the boring ol' straight up juggalos. They're going to show only the craziest of the lot.
They probably have 10 times more footage than this, out of which most are of perfectly normal people just having a good time.
Don't believe everything you see.
This. Other from the fact that these guys paint their faces, I'd say this is no different alot of other festivals, good and bad things that come with it.
Why does this feel like half bashing Juggalo half bashing the US?
Oh right, because it is..*sigh*
People being stupid isn't celebrating anti-intellectuism. It's them being stupid. People look far too deep into things. I don't know I really could care less what other people do as again it doesn't effect me what they do with themselves.
Hurting kids or others? Yeah obviously maybe instead of watching them do it you oh I don't know call child services for your state or the police as needed.
I just don't get the point of this conversation except to mock and laugh at these guys while make jabs at some Americans.

3 posts to get religion involved. Must be a record.
And yes if they are willingly stupid then judge away. Stupidity is bad and seeing it as a good thing is even worse.
ICP is an evangelical christian group. if they are involved, religion is involved. It's part of their message
"DONT GIVE A FUCK BUT ALSO BE GOOD FOR GOD THAT MOTHERFUCKERS PSYCHOPATHIC"

Anti-intellectualism really is a growing problem in the US though. And ICP * DOES* say "I dont wanna hear from no scientist cause those motherfuckers be lyin and gettin me pissed"
Never even this knew subculture existed. Not sure what I feel about it, just seems like a modern spin-off of the hippy movement that reminds me a lot of the civilization in Borderlands. I didn't get a lot of anti-intellectualism from watching the video, but didn't see much intelligence in it either (a nice way to put it).

Yeah, that song "Miracles", which we all know for the "magnets, how do they work?!?!" meme, was a pathetic attempt to debunk science but all it did was show how stupid they were.
One would figure that an evangelical group of whatever religion wouldn't be proud of juggalo culture. You know, getting high and drunk, tattooing and piercing themselves with the body that their god created for them, swinging their tits (Both men and women) around in public, etc. ICP..... sigh....

this is totally not related to any kind of hippy movement.

1) [citation needed] 2) Apparently they're too intellectual for you. Their point wasn't "can anyone tell me how magnets work plz?" it was to try to say "magnets are magical miracles because no one understands how they work!1"
I used to be quite happy, ignorance is bliss and ignorance = stupidity therefore stupidity=happiness, i made the big mistake of learning to read. It is a reason for people who tips 160 in IQ to off themselves

Unfortunately, you are correct.
However, the idea that they even have the ability to express themselves like this is ideal. Hate it all you want, but hey, expressing yourself isn't always a bad thing.
Anyway, I feel this is just a lot of teenage angst in the work.
These people are still around? I haven't seen one in soo long I thought the fad just died when the band lost popularity. Never really saw older fans though just teenager, I thought they grew out of that nonsense. And please they don't even deserve a nice name like "anti-intellectualism" they are ignorant and stupid and they like it. I have no problem with that in general but manmost of the time they were reallly annoying or assholes too. Seriously they are still around in big numbers?
