Some people say it's shit, some people say it would be readable if it were less tiny and cramped. Either way it's terrible.

When I look back at my notebook, it's easy to see how at the start of the year I was like 'mmk I'm gonna make it really neat so at the end of the year I can find all my revision stuff easy' That happens for a few pages... and then eventually just turns into mindless scribbles of words taken out of context with doodles around the edge of the page If you give me a sheet of graph paper, you can bet your ass I'm filling it in like a chess board

Most people have bad handwriting because they are using the wrong muscles to write with. Most people use their wrist/fingers to write with, this is bad form (it gets even worse when you try to write fast). The muscles you should actually be using are further up your arm (think shoulder area), these are actually more precise and consistent once trained than wrist/fingers...just ask any high level golfer. The best way to practice is to write large on a chalk/dry-erase board on the wall, as this will limit the amount of wrist action you can use.
