If I could travel to any point in time, I would probably go back to 1998? I would tell my parents to invest in everything worthwhile, and prepare for the recession. Or 2008, and make sure I don't buy NX (in game currency for the game Maplestory), which is almost the worst thing I've ever decided to do in my life.

On the other hand, If I did travel through time, I would probably end up in the middle of the vast vacuum of space. The earth travels around the sun at like thousands of miles per hour, and the sun travels around the galaxy at an even faster speed, and the galaxy travels through the universe at an even faster speed. I'm not looking forward to dying FOREVER ALONE in the middle of space, unfortunately.

I would travel 1000 years into the future. What's going to be here? Will humanity have died out and the wilderness retaken the planet? Will our race have persevered and it's technology flourished, creating an advanced society? Will it be a post-apocalyptic wasteland where nothing lives? I'm willing to take those odds. Anyways, everything in the past has already been done, and you run the risk of creating time paradoxes and horrifically altering the future anyways. I don't want that kind of pressure, so I'll just roll the dice!

Smart answer would be to go back before we had the googles and the facebooks and the youtubes, and then just invent them all yourself. You'll be living in a time that you are familiar with and you'll have a lot of money.

I guess a fun answer would be to go back to the 70-80s though. Music was really good and people didn't give a fuck about anything. Before HIV was a problem. I want to experience this.

I would travel back to medieval times with some now day tech......I would carry a couple of AK-47s and thousands of rounds of ammunition(to protect my new found civilization)........I would proceed to not only invent gun powder, but antibiotics, electrical power generators, and assembly-line production......after impressing the people enough with my "powers" I will develop a following of fanatical followers that end up making the graetest civilization known to man....yeah thats what id do!

I would travel to the year 2195 to acquire shoes that let you jump atleast 5 meters high.
I then would travel to the year 2070 to buy sticky gloves so I stick to anything I touch.
After that I would travel to the year 1340 and ride a horse I stole in a castle.
I would take it with my and travel to the year 2319 and park it in my shape ship.
I then would travel to the year 135.000.000 BC and jump as high as I could, place my hands on it's back and ride a god damn dinosaur.
I would jump off, go back to 2319 to feed my horse a carrot, go back to 135.000.000 BC and ride some more god damn dinosaurs.

I would travel back to the time when Sappho was born at around 630 BCE, and I'd spend my days not only prevent or help her with her exile, I'd help her further develop her poetry and give her incite to the future of poetry, and how large of an effect she's had. I'd also attempt to recover the books she wrote that were lost, because her poetry was so beautiful and witty.

I would travel to the year you were born, and swap you with another baby. Would this game then cease to exist, and therefore myself cease to exist in that time? Would I go back to my own time or would I just disappear? So many questions need to be answered now.
