Santorum is also the name of the fecal matter and lube combination that can result from anal sex. Certainly not something you'd like to be close to, let alone spread it all over.

Google "santorum" Dan Savage googlebombed Santorum to "redefine his last name" several years ago for his derogatory remarks toward gay people. It's pretty hilarious. Edit: Wow, I'm not gonna lie. That did look like pretty strong censorship by CNN right there. What the fuck.

Look I american know media's been giving Paul less attention than he should reasonably have been given but that's obviously not a case of "blatant censorship". Know why? Because they set up the interview with the guy obviously knowing his views beforehand. Faking technical difficulties like that would impress me, though, I'll say that much. Even though I don't support all of his policies, he's my favorite out of the choices. Plus, the fact that he can get so much support despite blatant media bias makes me optimistic.

Plus, the fact that he can get so much support despite blatant media bias makes me optimistic. Actually I don't find that very incriminating either. I mean if they had quoted him as saying "It's all [the poor's] fault" that would be clearly biased. What was shown was a misquote, but it's really not all that controversial to actually blatantly say "if you want to be rich, you can be rich". It actually would annoy me if Paul would shrink from such controversy, though he understandably is a respectful guy and doesn't want to offend anyone, on top of the fact that he obviously wants to make a point about the cause of the downturn in the economy and how it affects everyone.

Lots of champaign tonight in the white house I'd say. Who cares what they think, that's their job to figure out how everything is a win for them no matter what that's the job of a political staff. With a 3rd place in Iowa, Paul is done for. He needed to do better, he failed. Maybe he can scintillate the country now by entering the Libertarian Party primary and engage in an epic bout with Gary Johnson over who will legalize weed faster when he's elected dogcatcher of Pecos County, Nevada.

That could be possible. But i would say a huge mistake for him. Most likley he would take a lot more voters from republicans than democrats. And that would give Obama a bigger chance to win the election

Yeah, real funny. Gary Johnson was elected governor of New Mexico and Ron Paul has been elected to the House a dozen times. Neither are joke candidates.

All sarcasm aside, that would just make him the Republican Nader. Which would be very, very good for the Democratic Party, but very, very bad for the Republican Party. Anyways, gg Ron Paul. Iowa's slightly more conservative than most other states (amongst self-declared Republicans, at least), and he still ran fairly well.

Edit: Also, Wolf Blitzer is a boss. Its interesting actually, I was listening to CSPAN radio on the way to work because I find it calming, and they had some political consultant on and he said that Paul is currently polling highest among active duty soldiers. Also as a sign of how weak her campaign is, Bachman was on a CSPAN interview on the morning of a primary. Seriously, if the best you can do on the morning of a primary is public radio that is only broadcast in Washington DC/the internet and listened to by about 10 people, you have a problem with your campaign.

“Here’s the deal,” Palin told Fox Business Network’s Neil Cavuto. “The GOP would be so remiss to marginalize Ron Paul and his supporters as we come out of Iowa tonight and move down the road to New Hampshire, South Carolina and Florida, et cetera. If we marginalize these supporters who have been touched by Ron Paul and what he believed in over these years, well, then, through a third party run of Ron Paul’s or the Democrats capturing those independents and these libertarians who supported what Ron Paul’s been talking about, well, then the GOP is going to lose. And then there will be no light at the end of the tunnel.” Also, at CC above: Not only that, but both Perry and Gingrich have significant attack ad campaigns planned on Romney for New Hampshire, in addition to whatever Ron Paul comes up with (and he has proven that his attack ads are effective.)
