But, according to Tom's Hardware, Chrome in its last build 12 is the best browser overall in terms of performance. ( http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/opera-firefox-chrome,2976-15.html ) Anyway, even if Chrome is faster, I prefer to use Firefox 5 with Noscript & Adblock+. It's fast enough for me and the extra security is appreciated.

If you're some porn freak or something okay I get it, but there are no real features I'm missing when using the newest IE.

Those who use internet explorer are just people who don't care about what browser they use or stick with the default browser on their windows PC. There are more tech savvy people who use other browsers, because they use the internet more and and like more efficiency or ease of use not because they are smarter. The opera statistic is very misleading for two reasons: first, i haven't seen the latest browser usage survey but the last one I saw Opera was at about 1% in the study of people who use it. This is because other browsers are more user friendly like Chrome or Firefox. While Opera has a niche market in the techie community. The second reason is that since there are so many techie people who use Opera that the IQ will be overinflated in the study.People in the techie community are much more likely to be very good at mathematics and computer science (which is the incredibly logic based science [My friend's mother worked back in the day with pre MS DOS OSs at a University and she had to go through 10'000 pages of code to find one irregularity]) which gives them a higher IQ. Having a high IQ doesn't make someone smart. Da Vinci, Newton, and Socrates would have scored low to average at best, if the had taken a modern day IQ test, because it relates to logical questions in the context of modern knowledge and theory. So this study only throws more gasoline on nerd flame wars. Now, Mr. Speaker, I relinquish the rest of my time to the gentlewoman from Massachusetts.

Does it even give the sample size? Are they evenly distributed? Sure, 100,000 people. How many users were actually IE? Knowing that IE has lost a lot of popularity, do any of you even think there would be a significant (read: fair) number of IE users in that small 100,000 to obtain an average from?

This merely shows average IQ of a user base for a browser. It doesn't work the other way around. Basically, if person A uses Opera, person B uses IE, you don't know which one is smarter. However, if this was everything you knew about A and B and you had to guess which one is smarter, it'd be prudent to pick A.

The biggest issue with not switching browser for most people is maybe not knowing how to download/use other browsers. For me it just mainly laziness. Even if it does take 2-3 minutes to start using a new browser.

All of you people who keep posting "I have had Opera for 2 years. This proves how smart I am!!" get off your high horses. An IQ of 125 is just above average. You didn't take the test did you? To the OP: Wth do you care if we share this article? Are you going to share this post with your friends? Yep or Nope?

The one feature I like about Chrome, that I believe Opera doesn't have, is that you can drag a tab from one window to another. That is something I use so much, I can't do without it.
