In a purely anecdotal sense, I've been bombarded by feminist flyers, billboards, and rallies that maintain that a joke about rape is never acceptable (which I more or less agree with honestly), and yet mainstream, female targeted culture (we're talking daytime phucking television here) literally laughs about a male castration. This disparity boggles my mind at the very least, and at the most says some terrible things about gender relations. I'm not offended, I just like to call bullshit when I see it.

omg put this woman in jail -_-

How many people would see it as joking if a bunch of men were sitting around a table and joking about a man that had cut off his wife's boobs and clit because she wanted a divorce? Doubles standards exist in this world, because we let them. Pointing out hypocrisy is a must. Honestly, discussions like that do happen among men, just not on talk TV.

Men can get raped too. Don't see how that relates.

Yes, it's insensitive to talk that way. Just like it's insensitive to laugh about a guy getting his balls cut off. Basically the same thing. If you think one of these things is ok and the other is wrong then I'd love to hear what the difference is! Context? Gamers usually aren't talking about literal rape, or laughing at rape victims. :/ These women aren't actually saying violence against men is good. They're just joking. But some touchy people are upset by this. Same thing IMO. Because violence against men is funny right? Same as how violence against women is funny? Let's all joke about women getting beaten up and raped!

This is disgusting.. in every sense of the word.

Yeah this is certainly bullshit. The shit would hit the fan in seconds flat if the situations were gender-reversed. Mutilation is mutilation and I can't think of a world where this is fucking funny.

Omg im not sleeping for a while... That's really disturbing. I officially hate sharon.

can someone write a complaint to "The Talk" that awful show with those sexists statements and laughters about a man who was mutilated. There was one woman who said something smart, about how if the genders were reversed and it were men joking about a women getting mutilated it would be insensitive and then that red haired ozborne lady starts yapping her ignorant shit about how its not the same.

Already sent a comment to CBS concerning "the talk"
Absolutely garbage. Next topic, the Oslo Massacre? Get off the air.

Disgusting. That's all I can really say, both the crime and the talk show.

I hope the b*tch gets boob cancer.. just sayinnn... No seriously, that's like a man cutting off a woman's boob and leaving the other one there. Won't that make her attractive.

It's the fact that if a man did something like this to a woman and some guy on a radio show laughed about it, he would be instantly fired and ridiculed all over national television for days, forced to apologize before never being hired in media again.
Yeah I got that part. And I made fun of you for it. Lol @ you caring. Lol @ you for still not seeing how ridiculous you are even after I pointed it out.
