No the Scientific Method involves forming a hypothesis and then seeking evidence to confirm that, adjusting your hypothesis along the way based on the influence of said evidence to then form a theory. Forming an opinion then seeking evidence to support said opinion and disregarding evidence that doesn't support your opinion is not the scientific method. I know he doesn't specifically say disregard evidence that doesn't support your theory but I felt it was implied by the context. | ||

Uh... I'll openly say that I've been wrong on the internet and admitted to it. People have driven points across to me and I've accepted it. Hasn't happened all that often. I have never won an online argument though. I'd like to think that the wisest admit defeat at times and broaden their horizons as much as possible. | ||
