As for Raidcall, at the risk of sounding shallow, this conference is going to be with PhD-type people so it's preferable that I don't make them download gamey-looking things. google hangout works well for that matters

Nazgul: interjection; an expression of surprise or disbelief; ex: "Nazgul that's a lot of money!" Djzapz: verb, intransitive; to closely scrutinize; ex: "I didn't even realize that the argument was fallacious until I really Djzapzed it." Sheth: noun, singular; a teddy bear; ex: "Isn't your son rather old to still be sleeping with his Sheth?" Artosis: noun, singular; the moss that grows on the sunny-side of a tree; ex: "In the northern hemisphere, one can determine which direction is north by looking for the Artosis on the side of trees."

They usually last about a week or so. Those battle reports are actually a bitch to create. I have to go through hundreds of screenshots that I've taken throughout the course of the act (I had 279 screenshots from Act 3 alone), decide which ones I want to use, create a story based on all the screenshots I've taken, make it actually funny etc. Writing it is a challenge, and each one takes me about 3-5 hours to write. I might have been able to have the next one out a bit sooner if I wasn't busy with mafia. The game I'm in ends in the next day or two though, so I'll switch focus back to the battle reports then after that.

If I'm not looking for anything crazy, would making a bunch of speakers and putting them in a box essentially function as a basic amp? Not sure I understand the question, but you can just buy a speaker box and install a woofer. Most boxes you'll find are meant to be used for subwoofers though, so you'd need additional holes for a midrange/tweeter. For a keyboard, you would obviously want them.
