Yes. Kama flour with kefir along with curd snacks are popular. Most of the cuisine is german, however. Oleviste church used to be the highest building in europe for a while, if that counts?

Speaking of injuries, posted this in another thread but it's probably not as active

I twisted my ankle ~3 months ago when I fell bouldering. Foot ended up really swollen, wore an ankle brace most of the time, rubbed weird swelling-reducing things. Took 2-3 weeks before I could limp-walk under my own weight. Further 3-4 weeks before I regained full ankle mobility and could do squats. My first time twisting my ankle this badly, but googling it sounded okay compared to 2 month recoveries.

For the last month I've been able to do all the all my normal activities involving my ankle - bouldering, running, squats/deadlifts, etc. But wanted to ask if 2 things sounded normal for rehab.

1. In the morning when I first walk my foot feels like it's pulling a muscle or tendon too hard. It's fine after walking a bit more, but is this somewhat normal?

2. The bony part of my ankle still feels slightly swollen, not bony compared to my other foot, more fleshy but not too fleshy. It's not really a big deal except when I touch it, it just doesn't feel 100%. Again, is this normal and will it go away? Or should I be rubbing it more often...

Which way did you twist? Which bony part? Still visibly swollen? Did you go to a doctor to ensure no fractures? Have you had an x-ray?

Those are a few of the questions which would need answering. Since you are Canadian and healthcare is free - go to a doctor.

I twisted my right foot inwards. The bony protruding part on the outside of my right ankle. Nothing visible unless you compare my feet and I told you there was an injury.

I... forgot to tell my physician last time I went. I'll ask next time...

Pretty much everyone in Northern Ohio and Michigan knows what poutine is, so I object to that answer. Dessert Butter Tart is better, though I've had it before I think. No idea what Caesar is, that one wins

Effects of activity on healing

In animal models, extensive studies have been conducted to investigate the effects of mechanical strain in the form of activity level on tendon injury and healing. While stretching can disrupt healing during the initial inflammatory phase, it has been shown that controlled movement of the tendons after about one week following an acute injury can help to promote the synthesis of collagen by the tenocytes, leading to increased tensile strength and diameter of the healed tendons and fewer adhesions than tendons that are immobilized. In chronic tendon injuries, mechanical loading has also been shown to stimulate fibroblast proliferation and collagen synthesis along with collagen realignment, all of which promote repair and remodeling.[35] To further support the theory that movement and activity assist in tendon healing, it has been shown that immobilization of the tendons after injury often has a negative effect on healing. In rabbits, collagen fascicles that are immobilized have shown decreased tensile strength, and immobilization also results in lower amounts of water, proteoglycans, and collagen crosslinks in the tendons

Edit: forgot a question - if i have a plant(non-native) that flowers/fruits during autumn+winter can i reprogram it to flower and bear fruit in spring+summer or maybe summer+autumn?.
And my fury stands ready. I bring all your plans to nought. My bleak heart beats steady. 'Tis you whom I have sought.

Probably, afaik flowers don't have a clock inside, they just recognize the temperature and the amount of light they get. So if you give them the right amount of light and the right temperatures, you can get them to flower whenever.

Proof: You can get bananas in the supermarket on every day of the year.

Disclaimer: I am a doctor, but I haven't examined you which is integral to any real diagnostics/recommendations. With that in mind - I think you are fine as you are unlikely to have a fracture where you describe the softness based upon the mechanism of injury. Try and notice whether it is there all the time or only at later stages of the day after having been up and about? It sounds like you might have neglected the rehabilitation a bit. Just do some stretching and light/medium (no pain) strengthening exercises - e.g. balance board or 1-leg balancing while someone pushes you gently out of balance. If that doesn't alleviate the issue within 3 weeks you should definitely see a doctor IRL (tbh you should probably see one in any case just to make sure).

Ok, how about: You can get pretty much any fruit at any point in the year? That means, that at least most fruits can grow at any time of the year given the necessary conditions. So either all fruit are all year round fruits, or fruit don't decide when to bloom based on an exact date, but based on the conditions around them. Since not all fruit are all year round fruits (tomatoes for example, are not. Thus, it must be the latter.

Hmm yeah I definitely didn't go the whole professional route with rehab lol. will definitely take a look with my physician when he's back from vacation and try more ankle mobility exercises.

xmc's wiki seemed relevant but how can you really understand those articles if you're not in the field

It is more or less the Canadian Bloody Mary. And it's 87% more yummy AND has shown to help with reattachment of fallen off penises.

So you stand in front of your mirror, say 'Caesar' three times in a row, and a man in white dress and wearing a Laurel Wreath will come out of it to kill you?
