Stink bugs maybe? Bed bugs are what they sound, tiny bugs that tend to infest beds and bite the occupant of said bed causing irritation. | ||

OW: Have you ever seen the "stink bugs"? It's another thing I have never heard about, but quick research shows that they also do not live in Europe - native from east Asia, brought recently to the U.S. and spreading annoyingly there. There does not even seem to be a Czech word for those. Even the pear odor you mentioned matches to the description. However it's not really surprising that there is a confusion, because most people don't really know a lot about bedbugs - owing largely to their secluded lifestyle and size which makes it really hard to see one. Sadly, I do, because we fought them for quite some time. | ||
