I don't think the surgery is really different, it probably depends more on the immune system response which will be different from person to person

None of them are objective. You're supposed to read 3-4 conflicting sources and use the information from multiple sides to have a fully rendered image of the concept at hand. Preferably you'll have: 1st hand account (someone actually there), 3rd party account (person who witnessed event), specialist account (expert who studies/deals with said situations), and zeitgeist accounts (the overarching social context that occurred before and after the event). Each political party overemphasizes one account over the others to reinforce their conclusions. By reading all of them you get to access the pros and cons of all the different accounts.

If you were French I'd just tell you to read LeMonde xD there has to be an equivalent in seriousness and objectivity in the UK. I dunno, did any newspaper in the UK publish the original wikileaks files?

Those are the closest to "non-partisan, non idiot" that you'll find. NPR has a liberal bent, but is relatively open-minded as a rule. BBC is generally excellent, though with short articles. Politico has solid coverage and interesting opinion pieces. I also like The Economist. It's unabashedly opinionated, but articles generally explain both sides of an issue quite well. It's also not really lined up with any political party in the West; it's "libertarian" but of a more sober fashion than, say, Ron Paul. And it's pragmatic libertarianism with general social libertarianism: pro-gun control and pro-legalization of anything under the heading "vice."

How do you avoid tilt and getting mad? When I'm playing I can't help but just becoming absolutely disgusted with myself and how bad I am. It bleeds into other games too pretty often, not just SC2. It also affects watching SC2 even, I get so pissed when players I like lose and do poorly, to the point where it feels like I give more of a shit about how they do than they do. I really need to fucking fix this, but I've tried and nothing has worked so far.

I guess focus on what you did well and try to not take it that serious also just chalk up your mistakes to a learning experience. maybe when something goes wrong just try to smile it off and be like "shit happens sometimes" when you're watching just try to remember your watching it for entertainment and you're not personally invested in who wins. not sure how much help this is cause like I said I just kinda grew out of it.

https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLvlw_ICcAI4dgellaUrmAcV7s-VhfqHat It was taken down a few months ago, and the only thing I remember about the song is the phrase "Come loud" was repeated multiple times.
