Does anyone know of a good site with a strong user base that might have a match for me? I don't live in a particularly large city, roughly 150,000 people in British Columbia, Canada. One of the first google results gave me https://www.tandemexchange.com/, which I registered for, but it has no matches near me :/ Not particularly a stupid question I guess, but not sure where else to ask around. A lot of places recommend going to local universities and asking there, which I'll probably end up doing at some point, just wanted to see if there was a good site that I wasn't able to find. | ||

When you download a torrent you are actually downloading small chunks of the file(s) from multiple different peers at the same time while also uploading chunks of what you have already downloaded to other people. Seeding is when you have finished downloading the file completely but continue to upload chunks to others. Seeders are the reason you downloaded your linux distro at blinding speeds. If you don't at least seed for a while after downloading, you are called a leecher, or someone who downloads the file and then does not seed. If your internet can't handle seeding, you want to use the internet, or just don't feel like seeding, you can stop the torrent after it is complete to stop seeding. Seeding can increase your chances of getting 'caught' (everyone I know has downloaded... Linux at least once so really it's more like 'proven') but if you are truly paranoid about getting caught you should get something like Peerblock and possibly learn to set up a proxy as you are traceable throughout the downloading process anyway. But yes, what he did was legal. At least it would be legal in the US (I'm not sure what international law stipulates) | ||

So as long as you have something from that above list going for you that you are truly good at (top 5-10%), then it's very likely there will be some women out there interested in you. Hard to quantify these qualities of course, as top 10% humor for someone might be top 50% humor for someone else, charming personality is very subjective. Generally we know what kind of people are looked up to (doesn't have to be by a large group of people, for example, university professors or mountaineers), and having those qualities will make you attractive. | ||

Just build a giant attract-ray that makes all the girls attract to you. Be very careful not when calibrating this, though, otherwise you might get crushed to death by a giant pile of girls in your volcano lair. | ||
