so I'm driving home from college, already having a bad day, and then I see this faggot lane changing over and over to try and get ahead. they're in the other lane, and then they jerk into my lane and force me to put on my brakes. I'm already irked a bit at this point. then they go into the other lane again, and 2 seconds later, BACK INTO MY LANE EVEN THOUGH WE'RE COMING UP TO A STOP LIGHT AND THERE'S A LINE OF CARS AND THERE'S CLEARLY NOT ENOUGH ROOM FOR THEM TO GET IN. I'm like seriously? they didn't even use their blinker. I had to slam on my brakes and they BARELY had enough space to get in front of me. they basically forced me to slam on my brakes because they were going to make that lane change regardless of how much room there was. really, I wish I could afford to be without my car for a while, because if I could, I'd have stayed in my lane and let them wreck into me (they guaranteed would have if I didn't stop). would've been their fault because I had the right of way and they would've had to pay for everything. hopefully it'd teach them a lesson about being a faggot driver. god damn.

I have a complete and utter distaste for everything pop-culture nowadays. Simply put, everything from music, American news media, politics, etc. I look back at past generations and consider myself in a cultural wasteland. During the '60s, I consider the music to be at least cultured in some form. The popular sounds had their own vibe to them. Even if I don't particularly like bands like the Beatles or old Woodstock-type rock bands, I can't deny their unique musical abilities and significance. My mom grew up in the 70's and 80's, and she told me about news media when she was young. Even if stories had more of a censored, conservative, and family-oriented feel to them, they still reported on decent material. Then comes 90's music, which I can at least point and laugh at. That doesn't sound like it makes sense, but what I mean is at least you can look back and realize how dumb the pop culture was back then.

Now comes music, news, and politics today. What do we have? Just pure fucked up bullshit. Most people will probably agree that pop culture music is simply retarded. You can't even point and laugh at it because it's so ridiculously stupid. It's just sickening to even look at. Some songs that my friends listen to, I just have to sit back and wonder how pop culture ever got to this sickening point. What has become of humanity to even consider this content an art form? Case in point, the song "Rack City"....

What do we have for news in 2012? Simply brainwashing propaganda, retarded stories fueled by the need for ratings, and again a general extension of the cultural wasteland. This certainly has to do with the older generation, but the fact is that younger generations have a much stronger influence on elders now that the internet and other multimedia has so rapidly grown. This causes them to take part in the bullshit.

To cap it off, I'll leave politics alone since it's such a recently developed absurdity in this country.
