Most of these fans rioting have been cheering and carrying the colours for 15-20 years now, through all the trials and trebulation, and now it seemed to them that they would finally achieve it, until tonight. If you had been dreaming of something for 20 years, and then had it promised to you, only to have it ripped from your fingers at the last possible second, would you riot? I fucking would.

And @ people in this thread, man up. Seriously. This is Canada, and we go through hockey riots every year at this time, whether its montreal, vancouver, edmonton, or montreal (did i mention montreal?). Why is anybody even surprised about this? I thought we had come to expect this, and we've definitely learned how to handle it. Just stop being a bunch of pussies.
