Of course all of those are government projects, which somehow have been awarded to companies that have links to this guy.

Why should I bash the US? It does the job for me...
I just fail to see how a country that produces such great philosophers as George Carlin (no sarcasm there) has enough" greatness" left over to claim that obesity is a disease and not a lifestyle choice. To me, that falls in the same vein as calling homosexuality a disease and not a lifestyle choice. I mean really? Some people may be predisposed to obesity or homosexuality, but last I checked neither was "catching."

A pathetic country were it's pretty much legal to commit crimes since the punishment is so low and the prisons are so luxurious ( TVs in cell, X360 and so on).
We still have a king and queen despite living in the 21th century, cmon how fucking retarded isn't that.
And let's not talk about the media, it's ok to show the face of a suspected murderer/rapist if he is white but if he is not from sweden it's not ok to show his face/name. What a fucking joke. All the good parts with Sweden won't stay good for long unless this shits keeps going on.
How the hell does low/not so harsh punishment make something legal?
You just made me realise another thing I hate about Sweden, people here idolize the conservative sides of the US way too much. It's been shown in pretty much every single study ever done that having a harsh legal system doesn't reduce crime at all, it makes shit worse. Seriously, just look at the US, more than 1% of the entire population is in jail, stop trying to make Sweden more like that ffs.

Nobody cares about real problems in my country because they're all too interested in celebrity babies and reality TV. Fuck these people!

I hate that in Norway you have bullshit politicians which wont / cant do shit, so that nothing ever changes. I hate that in Norway bars and nightclubs arent allowed to play trance, because it "ecourages" exstacy. I hate that in Norway you have to pay more than in any country for a beer or a pack of cigarettes. I hate that in Norway most prisoners actually have better conditions in jail than they do on the outside. I hate that in Norway anything negative (as in any kind of critique) regarding immigrants (Muslims especially) is considered rasist. I hate that in Norway bars close at 01.30. I hate that in Norway you have a relatively retarded school system, which locks out people who might have done well only given a second chance (if you do allright you walk a golden paved road of stundent loans) with a test or something (as they have in the netherlands).
/rant of norwegian fails (probably forgot many of them though, as im writing this drunk)

US is horrible because:
-There are actually a large percentage of us who think evolution is a hoax -Some people here truly believe the Earth was created 6000 years ago -Sarah Palin -Most American adults are overweight and some of these people breed and then overfeed their children to produce even more overweight people. This is a serious health problem that people recognize but don't do anything about it. 15 years ago I would have never thought obesity would be a larger problem than smoking -A lot of people don't like acknowledging it, but racism is still is a large part of American society. How disgusting -Only in American can someone like John and Kate get swept up by media poaches and then have their lives ruined because of it -We happen to be the only developed nation to not have universal health care. How pathetic are we that we can spend enough to maintain 50% of the world's combined military yet can't provide health care for the less unfortunate -Our education is getting more and more behind; more of our leading scientists are imported from other countries
Most of these problems are leading to a slowly decaying country. We may have the world's largest economy but if you asked a middle class American (wait that's a countradiction, there is no middle class anymore) to rate the quality of their life it would probably be a 3 on the scale of 1-10. If these problems are not fixed another Civil War is a possibility (one completely different, most likely a class war) or federal government implosion leading to complete anarchy or modern day city-states.

Last year I visited/lived in all three of the following countries for a good duration: Canada, China, US I've also lived in these countries before for four+ years each.
Canada: I used to think Canadians were nicer than Americans. But the truth is, they're the same. I just lived in a small suburb in Canada, and attended grade school so they seemed nicer.
I think Canadians are very similar to Americans in almost every way, but we make fun of America anyways. In truth, we follow America, it's celebrities, and news stories. Canada is America's hat, or little America, not the other way around :/
The country is filled with greedy businessmen, unwilling to lose profit by changing the price of their items even when the value of the loonie has risen so much in comparison to the states.
The internet is god awful, even here in Toronto.
The people are hypocrites who think that they are doing good and saving the planet from evil forces, when they are really following a mob mentality and aiding in what they are fighting against.
There is too much weed.
China: This country is horrendously corrupt.
The children spend way too much time either studying (either school or a hobby) because they are pushed to the extremes by their parents, or spend too much time working at a job and playing at internet cafe's.
The educational system stresses memorization over critical thinking.
While the country claims to want peace, the people are very racist, and think that Americans are trying to disturb their peace by instigating rebellions and messing with their economies. They think that blacks and people of other skin colors are inferior creatures, and that we evolved from them. The beliefs are much the same that fueled the second world war.
The people are too nationalistic and, having been raised one way, are unwilling to see any other point of view.
The country still operates in a backwards fashion in many ways. People still trust old medicine that has never been proven in a laboratory setting to work. The health system essentially sells a cheap placebo.
Large cities are filled with smog and smokers. Both contribute to give me chronic asthma attacks. There are more smokers where people are poorer.
There are many people who steal and scam. Just about every advertisement on TV lies. If you don't speak chinese, be prepared to pay twice as much (at least) for everything.
The streets can be dangerous for pedestrians. People jaywalk in very dangerous ways, cars fight so hard for the little space they allow other cars. Taxi drivers can make more money the more people they find, so they drive way above the speed limit.
US: Same as China, the country is hopelessly nationalistic.
The people in cities and suburbs are fatter, Chinese people eat healthier food, food with less fatty oils. Canada has fewer dense cities / large dispersed planned suburbs.
The US is divided between the relatively really smart and the stupid. Very few people inhabit the middle ground. The conditions just seem to be there to raise incredibly capable individuals, but the potential is also there for many individuals to fall through a gap.
Reality television, sitcoms, and (fox) news prey on the masses using sensationalism. There is no substance in the entertainment in general. The eastern world copies this pattern, it's very profitable.
Family guy.
They also have many flaws in common, such as the large disparity between the very rich, and the very poor.
People are increasingly reliant on computers. As a computer engineering student, I love computers, but I do not like seeing a rapid decline in the amount of effort people think that they are capable of getting away with.
What can you do :/
edit: Perhaps instead of seeing everything as a flaw, I will just say that it is hypocrisy that makes me think of these things as flaws. If people accepted that they were selfish by nature, then it would not look so bad if someone did a selfish deed.
