Also, my country cries about our healthcare system(which does need reform) and says that if universal healthcare works in Europe, it will work here. But one thing I notice about Europeans is that they actually care about their health. Here in America is like a competition to see how fast you can eat yourself into a heart attack..

Moar Brazil bashing: - Criminality in all sectors of the society. Ranges from the little pickpocketer to the high government figures public money diversion. - Public universities have poor infra-structure (lack of equipment, low quality equipment). I was kind of ashamed when two german professors from Gelsenskirchen (almost sure I misspelled ) came to give us a lecture about HCI.+ Show Spoiler + Just a note: half of their presentation was written in English, the other half in German. Holy shit, German words are long. - Brazilians think too high about themselves when it comes to football (soccer). Often we are bad losers. - A PC that cost US$800 in the US will cost around US$1350 here due to importation taxes. - On the internet, everyone I know laugh like this: shuhuhUHSUHUSHASshuhauhauhsuha or like this kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

Several different rape cases are judged the same way: "Because the 3 and 4 year-old girls did not cry out or protest, it can't be proved that it wasn't consensual. Therefore, the rapists will get a few months in prison." A few months?! WTF?! Thing is, there are laws that could put these people in jail for years, yet the judges chose to pick this "consent" rule.

We get shafted and we take it (seriously I wish we could general strike like France). This province called Quebec whines a lot, they want to separate, but yet they don't know that if they do, they will crumble due to the fact that Canada pays companies to go there and prop it up. There is more I know, but this is what comes to my sleep-deprived mind.

I think I did a pretty thorough job ![]() Really nice post. It's a very individualistic place to be with solid relation to the government. I can't believe that the youth of today hasn't rebelled and created a counter culture with roots in the community. Creating an identity for themselves and leaving a history behind. Instead everyone is caught up with themselves and listening to whatever TV/Internet/books tells them they should do. Maybe this is normal and will get better once everyone hits 30.

A pathetic country were it's pretty much legal to commit crimes since the punishment is so low and the prisons are so luxurious ( TVs in cell, X360 and so on). We still have a king and queen despite living in the 21th century, cmon how fucking retarded isn't that. And let's not talk about the media, it's ok to show the face of a suspected murderer/rapist if he is white but if he is not from sweden it's not ok to show his face/name. What a fucking joke. All the good parts with Sweden won't stay good for long unless this shits keeps going on.
