I'm fine with most insects, wasps, centipedes, moths, whatever, but spiders fucking terrify me. And there's no worse spider than a huge, hairy Huntsman.
Open at your own risk.

I almost died when I opened my car and one of these huge fuckers fell on my head. I'm envious of any country that doesn't contain such monstrous beasts spewed from the pits of hell.

I'd like to share a story with you.

When I was just a little boy, around the age of 15, I sat in front of my computer, when all of a sudden a large shadow scurried in my peripheral vision. I immediately screamed for mommy, cause I was sure I had seen a spider.

She came to my rescue, definately annoyed because we couldn't find the beast.

Upon leaving my room, mom saw her.

She was giant. She was hairy. She said directly over the doorframe, towering like the Eye of Sauron.

Even my mom was startled. The thing was so extremely large that words can't really cover it.
I had dogs that were significantly smaller.

So my brave mother took a moment to gather her wits, take one of her shoes off and smash the beast. We heard it's bones crack. The bloodstain it left was so huge we had to put new wallpapers on. I still wake up trembling sometimes...

oh god oh god oh god oh god oh god oh god

Centipedes and millipedes are the worst fucking things in the world. Just looking at one on the monitor freaks me the fuck out.

Like JESUS FUCK WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU? GET THAT SHIT OFF YOUR FUCKING HAND OMG.

Cockroaches are fucking terrible, too. UGSOIDUFPOSUDFLKSFCJOPIAS UCPODISCUJS

I don't even understand the fear at all. I used to not be afraid of them. I remember I'd used to find catterpillars in my backyard when I was younger and I'd show it to everyone, let it crawl on my hand and shit...
now they freak me out. I don't understand it.

Oddly enough, big spiders dont scare me. Small ones? Yeah, fuck off. Get away from me.
But this thing?

I find that thing cool as shit. My neighbour had a pet tarantula and having it on me didn't scare me at all. :/

Not scared at all of common insects like spiders, mosquitoes, cockroaches, etc. The one posted on the first page was a bit nasty though. I would be freaked out for a few seconds before I'd go kill it.

I live in old house, so I pretty much always have a few spiders and other assorted insects chilling around. Doesn't bother me too much unless they are big/too visible (ie. huge freaking crawly thing hanging on the toilet bowl in the morning). I'm a pretty outdoorsy person anyway. I get the occasional wasp and that gets killed the second it gets spotted though.

Mosquito bites suck, but I have learned not to scratch them: the itch goes way in a few hours if you leave the stings alone. I used to be very allergic to them though. I remember having huge angry purple bumps everywhere on my body after fishing trips. Not fun.

That's pretty weird, but I had the same problem.

When I was little and a mosquito bit me, I got huge skin erections.
No I barely notice it.

I hate all giant bugs. When I was younger I used to just dump my clothes on the ground, but one time I saw a GIGANTIC spider right next to my close. I sprinted back, collected my courage for a couple minutes, and grab an old suitcase. I dropped the suitcase right on top of it and since then I have started to hang up my clothes. That suitcase is still there btw, I haven't mustered up the courage to lift it up and check to see what happened.

I love spiders, at least house spiders. Theyre a natural insect control so I like keeping them inside the house. I hate any blood-sucking or infestation-capable insects. Mosquitos, bed bugs, fleas, etc. give me a slight allergic reaction to their bites and it pisses me off. Ants are annoying because they could take over your home if youre not careful. Fleas are a combination of the two, I hate them with a passion.

Oh and bees. Bees piss me off. Just be glad you dont live in Japan and have to deal with these bad boys:

That's not a bee. Bees are okay.

That's a motherfucking giant hornet.

True story:

I once went inside my house after being away for a while. The first thing I saw when I walked into the living room was a huge moth flying in circles. I tried to ignore it and went into the restroom. I lifted up the toilet seat, and I saw a dead fly floating in the water. I tried to ignore that too and finished urinating. Then I peeked into the shower before I was going to wash my hands. Sure enough, there was a huge spider crawling on the bottom of the bathtub. Getting freaked out, I turned on my sink and was about to wash my hands when a spider popped out of the sinkhole!

I never was so scared in my life.

Ok, new thread rule, all bug pictures, especially ones that are magnified 100x need to be spoilered!!! :p

I hate bugs and try to kill them all if they enter my house. Although if one touches me unexpectedly I usually freak out and have to compose myself before tackling the beast.

Also, one time, i was eating ice cream in the dark, watching a funday monday at my computer. It was mint chocolate chip, so there were slightly crunchy/chewy pieces in it. All of a sudden, i think i hear a plop. I ignore it, thinking it was the audio. Two bites of ice cream later: CRUNCH. i sit there mortified for a solid minute, and then work up the courage to ignore it, and try again. CRUNCH. At this point, i pull whatever it was out of my mouth. All i know is that it was black, and had a shell. Shaped kind of like a firefly, but obviously had a harder carapace. Da fuck.

I hate bugs. I literally have an undying hatred of them. All of them, they creep me out and spiders practically render me catatonic. Omg I hate them so much, you know those swarms of bees in the south-west that are dangerous because they can swarm and sting you hundreds of times? Yeah I'd die, but not of stings, I would literally have a fucking heart attack out of sheer unadulterated terror, this is not an exaggeration, I would rather burn my own skin off with a lighter than be attacked by a swarm of bees. And that picture of the giant hornet a few posts above me, can't even look at it without getting a little light-headed, I'm dead serious.

The one exception is praying mantises, they kill other bugs and are pretty much the bad asses of the bug world, so yeah, they hate their own kind as much as I do so thats cool and all.
