Now people buy expensive shit cause there is the glossy aqua apple on it. Those iPhone and iPad morons are destroying the company that used to stand for individualism, difference. Now everyone knows and loves or hates it. Can consider Apple as 'cool' now i think..

Don't get me wrong, i still own a mac. i'd never buy a windoze machine. But i got my reasons. Which is my work. So before you guys start hating me, don't bother.

My work won't change and so is my operating system.

Hey LOTR people, you realise those 3 books where among the most popular books way before the movies were announced? You know, like in the freakin 40's?

Anyways, I've been drinking single malt whisky way back when all the distillerys where still trying to copy jack & johnny.

I used to have that mindset in high school. I guess it made me "ahead of the curve" as someone pointed out in this thread. I guess it stems from the need to elevate yourself. Then I realized how stupid that was.

I guess if I had to pick something, from back in high school, it would be when Eminem was starting to get big. Among other music related things.

It's a shitty mentality and you know it. If you ENJOYED IT, why should you feel weird when other people enjoy it too?

Or do you just feel superior because you did things when they weren't cool? Following the trend is cooler and makes you a hole lot better socially. Talking about dub while it is cool is when it's best to talk about it obviously, the rest of the time noone knows what you're on about and you have to explain it to them.

yeah, a weird topic, cause i liked a lotof stuff, but now i just hate em, its like when i first found out about mu online i was like - hell yeah, i want that shit!!!! but after like a while it got so popular that io hated it!!! the same with WoW, i wanted to play it cause my brothers friend said it was awesom and stuff, but really when i tried it, it seemed like a piece of shit, but when it was not that popular i kinda liked it! i had like the same thing with cars, cause now my favorites are mercedes-benz (ofcourse), but when i was little my favorites where BMW, cause not everyone had them, and they werent like a symbol of racinor anything(well they were, but not that much)! but now i dont like them, the only one i like is e30, but rarely!
i could continue like this for pages, but im too lazy 0_o
