I liked table tennis before it became a huge fad at my school. When I was in 6th grade I borrowed a "how to play table tennis" book written by a professional and set up my table so I could practice a ton. I eventually got really good and won at a school tournament and church tournament. People thought I was crazy because I used my whole body to play rather than just my wrists like most people.

I was interested in making dubstep, particularly the ambient kind (ex: Vaccine). I made a test track and I was rather pleased with it. Then all the bros and party sluts got into it and I thought, "oh god, I do not want them as my audience."

There are probably things I liked before they became cool. There are things I liked after they became cool. But I certainly don't let someone else's perception of how cool something is, or when that something became "cool" affect me. "Cool" is a matter of opinion. All I care about is how cool I think something is, and I don't go out of my way to mention to others something like, "Yeah, that's been sweet for a while." And honestly, I wish more people were like me.

I played video games before they were "cool" and popular I have been playing since I was five.. So that's 13 years of video games.. Started on the NES. Sure people were playing video games before I was born but for how popular video games are now I was way ahead of the game.

Not the actual "I liked before", but the "I saw before"-moment. yea. All the stuff like Two and a half men, big bang theory, family guy etc etc I watched em at least 1-2 years BEFORE everybody started to talk about...
