I know discussing the possibility of economic depressions is an easy target for ridicule, but honestly I tried to be as factual as I possibly could. I cited numerous reports, and not loony-ville reports from wacko websites. The data I used and repeatedly cited came from the Congressional Budget Office, the Federal Reserve, the International Monetary Fund, etc. I wasn't trying to incite a panic or anything, just pointing out the facts for a discussion. In my opinion an economic depression is inevitable. People took my comments out of context by saying I was suggesting "buying salt and stockpiling weapons." I just find it surprising that warnings of government insolvency are considered running jokes when it is being reported in the news day after day. Greece had to receive a bailout from the European Union, for example, and my state of California is considering bankruptcy more and more to escape the weight of the public employees unions. I guess I should have said "government debt is a real problem, but you shouldn't worry about it. Just keep playing video games."

This isn't making fun of just your thread. It's making fun of your thread, all political threads, and all economic threads. Narcissistic.

Narcissistic. The format, the title, sections and comparisons all taken from my thread. I'd hardly call that "narcissistic" to notice. I never said my thread was the only one being referenced. But I would say it is the primary one.

This is a call to arms for the RED ARMY. 5 years from now, I think it will die down and lots will leave. Have faith my Mafia brethren! We are used to being waste deep in filth more than anyone else! We shall prevail and drop e-bombs of knowledge to eradicate keyboard warriors! Remember we have the power of the crotchmaster. Our Manifesto tells us Evil Teletubies will rise from the grave to rip off their heads! The headless chickens will take heed. If that isn't enough, Rage will use his wall scroll to summon the Incnotrol Freak Steamboat Robinson who will choo choo all over their puny asses. Have faith! + Show Spoiler + Or grab your pitchforks!
