Keep it civil guys.

Alright I am sick of warning people: Trolling, flame baiting, and derailing will result in insta bans.
The same goes for conspiracy theorists and stupidity generally.

Confirmation was as follows
- On-site DNA test which came back as 99% positive.
- photos of face sent to CIA and confirmed with photo analysis
- confirmed by 20 year old wife who live in pakistan.

This thread is specifically dedicated to the details surrounding the raid/his death.

I wont ask were you got the numbers from and even tho it's a good question to ask,i think you'll get attacked by the people in this forum for stating it.Funny, isn't it?Tho,it wasn't just one man.

This quote has been going around quite often already via tumblr and other forums etc, thought I would like to share, didn't expect to get flamed that badly haha.

Peace ^^

I suppose the thousands of other insurgents killed don't count, do they?

Or the removal of the Taliban. Iraq is largely unrelated to 9/11 but it is much better off today than it was under Saddam.

i wouldn't quite go that far, while yes you couldn't speak out against saddam, people were able to live their lives in relative normality and safety.

Except for the Kurds who were getting gassed. Missed that small detail.

i was speaking more of the iraqi people.

Fair, nae?

Obviously a bias exists for him, but this seems to be the truth, right? Anything response to that?

Ask your friend why the Pakistani government spent 10 years hiding him? They could have handed him over years ago, or done the job they were supposed to do in the Battle of Tora Bora and this could have all been avoided.

Pakistan has been complicit in hiding this guy and a Pakistani person is in no position to criticize.

Pakistan's ISI is a terrorist organization.

Wow, so they were truly hiding him? Not that I directly disagree with you, but I'm relatively sure that the ISI wasn't hiding Osama...?

Umm...the Kurdish people represent a sizable minority within Iraqi. The Kurds Saddam was gassing were in Iraqi Kurdistan, which (while autonomous according to Wikipedia) is still part of Iraq.

they span 3 seperate countries, and i don't believe they considered themselves iraqi considering they've been trying to get kurdistan created for at least 2 decades now......and i highly doubt saddam considered them iraqi

Recently leaked wikileaks documents showed that the US intelligence community believes what a lot of people have been saying for years - that Pakistan's ISI is a terrorist organization and up to their neck in dealings with Al Qaeda and other terrorist groups.

Now that it turns out that he was hiding in the middle of Pakistan, in a town with a gigantic military presence and in an area just a stone's throw away from the capital.....well, let's just say it doesn't look good for Pakistan.

Of course, I'm just going on my opinion and what I've read over the years but I've been of that belief for years now.

While that maybe true, why would they lie about it and why would they do it now?
What is the gain at this specific point in time and is it worth the lie?
Lying about something like this pretty much makes sure that Obama and anyone affiliated with him including the democratic party will be put to shame for many years now and basically can concede the next elections if not sever next elections...

You could be lying :O

I never lie! ever!
