Curved, pointy, upward, black. Idk if this was a coincidence, but during the movie I thought for certain that her headgear was Nolan's way of having a more realistic version of, "Catwoman." He wasn't just completely forsaking the, "real," Batman, but using more realistic ways to combind comic book personas and realistic, plausible characters. Like how Bane wasn't built like a body builder, but was noticabely enormous. The joker had white makeup on his face, because (short of albinos) no person is actually, "white." As for Ra, I can't say much :/ Though, I've never read a comic in my life, so that's just my $.02.

Joker had white skin cuz he fell in lye. he actually had to use masks/make up whenever he wanted to camouflage himself, in tdk he has normal skin. no, googles on the head and latex suit is not catwoman suit. and bane in the other versions had pipes in his head feeding him with some super chemical that made him enermous and super strong, here he was a cast out ninja who is really strong. so basically they're all nolan's own versions

Its hard to compare it to the first two. I've found this one more entertaining than DK but overall i felt DK was better . Bane was cool. With that airplane scene :D

Also, When he is in the batsuit he is incapable of closing his mouth. Bane was awesome though, took a while to get used to his voice but it was good.

Rather than being physically born in the dark, I think he was referring to how his character as "Bane" was born/formed in the prison.

Tim Drake (the 3rd Robin) deduced the identity of Batman as a 9 year old child. Nolan's way of infusing his childhood into his own Robin character.

Drake figuring out Batman's identity is different to a kid looking at a smile from a billionaire and going, 'Oh, that's so fake. He must be Batman!'. That was utterly ridiculous. At the very least, Nolan should've had Blake confirm his suspicions by tricking Bruce to reveal the truth. That, at least, could make a little sense since the guy's not in a good place.

That, at least, could make a little sense since the guy's not in a good place. Well, I never said it was well executed. Although let's be honest, Nolan's done a pretty good job at weeding out the weird comic convoluted stuff for the most part and made his own interpretation. Personally I wasn't too bothered to just "go with it" rather than have him do it your proposed way just so it made a little more sense.

Bane is certainly not as good as the Joker, but since the movie is not as much centered around Bane as the second was around the Joker, I think it was pretty okay. The tension throughout the whole movie was great, how the batman is pictured for most of the movie (weak in comparaison to the supremacy of Bane) was just awesome and comparing this movie to the fucking Avenger is an insult.
