Nothing new for me. I did install a mesh band on my Seiko Sawtooth tho. It doesn't "fit" but I like the look. A lot. ![]() ![]()

Bit of background info- Medical student here 1. looking for something budget but must be reliable (buy off internet?) 2. must be professional looking and preferably minimalistic (5 second intervals required though) 3. water proof for basic exposure (swimming/showering but not deep sea diving) Looking forward to suggestions. Thanks

![]() (AR1469) After three years without a watch, I had some money to spare for Christmas so... looks so classy, love it (not into shiny things), and I least I won't break it ! Was barely under 400€. ![]()

Is that the Ocean 1 Vintage or how come it doesn't have a magnifying glass on the date? When I got mine, the DLC version was the only one without the dumb date-cyclops.

![]() I might PM this too but I thought others might appreciate it: What is the model of the exposed internals watch? Also do you happen to know where I could find others in various price ranges?

Also do you happen to know where I could find others in various price ranges? I am not sure what the internals are derived from. But I believe that this particular brand uses a Chinese movement. Chinese movements are generally cheaper and lower quality than other types. Of that movement, the Akribos XXIV and Stuhrling brands are in the low 50-200 USD range. I have purchased an Akribos XXIV as a gift before. The thing broke within a month, but they are quite sexy. If your budget is in that range, I would suggest getting a more reliable Fossil mechanical, Seiko mechanical, or Citizen quartz. These can all be purchased at Jomashop, o.co, or amazon with some simple searches and navigation.

Also do you happen to know where I could find others in various price ranges? That one I have is a Stuhrling Skeleton model. Usually $100-250, although you could find a few cheaper or more expensive. I'm not a huge fan of the watches with exposed internals (that's my only one, and I prefer simpler faces usually), but Bulova, Citizen, and Seiko are some of my favorite brands in the $100-300 range ![]()

Had to get myself a sawtooth after your pic, finally found one reasonably priced last week, should land in my mail any day now. I like the mesh look alot, but I'm thinking about a watchadoo one instead like this one except I got the SHC063 ![]()
