The rest of them just tell their computer to ping genesimmons.com all night. Not true, Anon is very famous for their efforts on the internet. Read up on it next time, I'd say they are the best of the best if I remember correctly not scripters or such at all. =) Edit: I think so anyhow, if it is referring to the one who posts on flashback.info in Sweden or am i mixing the names up?

They're really not. How could they be, considering the size and average intelligence that said community draws? There are some knowledgeable people there at the edges perhaps, but this kind of stuff isn't a display of it. This will only be counterproductive imo, but oh well, at least it's keeping em off the street.

From personal experience, there's a huge difference between people who participate in anon (mostly CS majors who want to do something interesting) and people who spend all their free time in /b/ (self explanatory).

If this is what you want to believe, I'm not going to argue with you. But even if they are, a dos is the best thing these geniuses could come up with. Hell TL could do that, BoxeR effect anyone? And both Paypal and Amazon or merrily trucking along atm. The best of the best? I think not.

Kind makes you think about mengsk and raynor, tho in a more gray and not so black and white area ... What are they doing to kill him? lol. I think that is about the worst thing that could happen to this guy. Nobody wants a martyr. And why wouldn't they want him to shut up. What he is doing isn't free speech. It is taking information that he isn't supposed to have and sticking it on the internet. I guess that makes a good journalist? Whatever. I supported wikileaks in the past when they were not media whores and using information as leverage to gain their own political power.

Maybe we can combine forces - post "OMG! BoXer is playing saviour in an Sc2 bo5 at mastercard.com" on both Anon's twitter and slashdot and you'll multiply the Boxer effect with the slashdot effect with the anonymous DDOS! It would be like an internet nuke!

Cable leaks continue. | ||

I'm not surprised about how all of these companies / corporations are just buckling to pressure instantly. Disappointing - US is making me sick right now.

I'd be in Cuba if i was in his spot. Or somewhere i can't be extradited, not sure Cuba is still valid.

Smartest thing for them to do right now would be to knock down Wikileaks the organization, which they've begun already, by shutting down servers, shutting down finances, etc. Even though there are mirrors springing up everywhere, there are people at Wikileaks who are maintaining the content on the mirrors. If they can somehow get to the people uploading the cables, then they can shut the whole thing down.

What else are they gonna do to him if they bring him to the us and put him on trial for terrorism ?

Guess we'll have to wait and see. Wouldn't be surprised if they did extradite him, but what will happen next is the real question :/
