It depends on whether your left or right side of the brain is more active.
It helps when you watch the "ass" because thats actually the only way to "change" it on purpose.
Look at the original:

The gif is going up and down so you can't tell the differences between the legs regarding the height.

If you look at the other gif again, you can see what actually is the difference, it's literally only how you see the legs and everything else is done by your brain all alone.
Just keep looking at the left side of the picture(the one where the lines are drawn, directly look at the hips and legs) and then the right side of it, it's hilarious..
Hard mode: do it with the original. A little trick I like to do: think about math for a minute, and then think about a joke or something that you love(really love) or something that makes you sad. It's fascinating(came up with that because I was too bored lol). I also know some people that can't get it to rotate clockwise. ;D


I don't really understand it myself, it's just what I read about it.
