Activision on the other hand is just releasing pure garbage or, even worse, absolutely destroying the potential of games (modern warfare 2, starcraft 2) By cutting costs and by trying to "Fix" things they don't care about or understand they have only hurt everything. It is really upsetting. They don't want their games to last 10+ years, they want them to last 2 or less so that the sequel can be made. | ||

I mean, seriously. Chill the fuck out man. You already have more money than you could ever dream of spending, and enough luxuries to feed a 3rd world country for a year. Relax. Quality > Quantity. That is why Activision BOUGHT Blizzard in the first place. Because they had made 5 or 6 REALLY good games. Not because they had turned out a mediocre game each year for the last 20. This is the new business model, to milk the shit out of every quarter as quickly as you possibly can, with no thought to long term stability. Companies like Ford and the Banks that had so much trouble are excellent examples. | ||

Even if they're in the right, it really just comes down to who has a bigger warchest to pay their attorneys. You got 3 guesses to figure out who's got more money to spend on attorneys, Activision the giant corporation, or Infinity Ward, a bunch of nerds who like making video games. It's sad the way America works, but that's the corporatist state we live in. | ||
