Well, it's summertime, which means summer break for those that are going to school. I'm curious to find out what people on TL are doing this summer. Have any exciting experiences or stories? Please share!

What does working related/not_related to your study mean? Many of us are working and aren't studying.
Personally I'm taking classes since I'm off from work for the next couple of months.
Gonna travel a bit and play games once my hand/wrist is in good order.

Chilling for the first part, then off to some Governor School classes for 3 weeks, then (perhaps) a small internship on the other side of the country.

Working for two more weeks, after then mostly chilling and playing Starcraft II.

Most likely if you're studying something like customer service, you are working in a customer service company or doing it somehow.

I have a no friends so nothing social I suppose.
A casino near by is adding table games i.e. poker in the middle of this month so I might spend my time there. Right now they only have slot machines.

Working related to your studies is like interning or doing some field work towards your job or future job.
Working unrelated to your studies would be just doing something random unrelated.
Its more directed towards college students who intern or just take regular student jobs.

Going to Guam for a few days. Studying some Japanese. Hopefully recontracting at my current job. Hoping to finish writing an article for publication. Watching a ton of baseball. Saving money for a new computer.

I want to find me a job (yeah I know late... Got to find some people to pull some strings).
Hang out with the bros a bunch of times before we go to different Unis and stuff.
Besides that, work out and get a girlfriend (I think 2-3 years is long enough a vacation from relationships).

Relaxing before college starts.

Taking some summer classes and trying to find a part time or temp job on campus. I was going to just stay at home, but am glad that I'm taking classes instead since I would be nothing but sitting around instead of doing something productive.

Working at The Beach Waterpark, relaxing and hanging out with friends, starcraft 2, getting better with photoshop and enjoying my last summer before I graduate high school.

Cleaning my room and prepping it for paint...Then gonna paint it. A nice natural brown for the trim and a tan-ish yellow for the walls. Gonna invest in a nice mouse, keyboard and mouse-pad, and hopefully have everything set before sc2 comes out.
Also gonna repaint my computer desk so its sexy enough to play on when I get my hands on that game.
Also filed for graduation and hopefully can get an internship by the fall, but not as important as getting my room ready for some sweet gaming hours. :D

heh, yep. Last summer was my final summer break before graduating college. I made the most of it by not getting a job and being lazy all day playing video games. Now I have a full time job so I'll just be doing that (and playing games after work obviously).

Chillaxing on SC:BW/SC @ b.net. Relaxing and hoping that I will one day be blessed with genius to make something that teaches u a whole school day in 2 hours(or something like that) so I barely have to go to school. ^^ Dreaming, taking care of my pets, going on TL.net, basically doing nothing but playing SC:BW/ doing SC related things cause there is nothing better to do than play SC!!!

Working a grocery store called Fresh and Easy. The pay is great for a menial job and they even give benefits.
Other than that I'm getting coaching in olympic lifting 4 days/week and playing Dragon Age: Origins.

Finish my Japanese classes, probably head up to Tokyo and visit friends, maybe go to Summer Sonic in Osaka, chill with friends and basically just enjoy the summer in Japan as much as possible before heading back to Sweden.

I get three weeks. My last job had five. I love my work, really, and I didn't take my five weeks when I had them, to be honest. Too busy.

I'm trying to find a job to pay for school. Its a hassle and I've come to a crossroads in life. I think I need to work and go to school later because I can't afford to have the randomness of life throw me a curveball like it is this summer.

My week vacation ends Tuesday, then it's work, more work, and then College once again in August for the Fall Semester.

Travelling around Europe first, Bulgaria and then probably some other eastern European countries. Then travelling through the US.

I've been taking a few classes, working a couple hours a week, doing some art on occasion, just finished Assassin's Creed 2 (still wondering wtf happened in the end), and not having a life.

I'm interning in a more or less 9-5 job. It's not terribly interesting, but at least the pay's decent for a student. And it sure beats my friend who pretty much just spends his time breaking mouse femurs and extracting the marrow.
