I chose "Dey" as my nickname for my World of Warcraft character. Friends started calling me Deyster as a pet name, which I kinda liked more than my original nickname, and changed my nickname to this.

Now I use this nickname for everything

Thereisnosaurus is a mashup of my old purile gamer tag Thereisnospoon and possibly the most awesome and elusive dinosaur ever, the therizinosaurus. Yes, that's actually a species.

I also picked it because it's a name/word that is unique on the webs. As far as I know, I am the only Thereisnosaurus out there, something I find rather important

So when I was in my freshmen year of high school, a few friends and I were really into a Kingdom Hearts and the whole Final Fantasy thing. Well in Kingdom Hearts 2 Organization XIII is a group of people who mirror a group of dead people, but their names are anagrams of the dead people + and X included, (Sam = Maxs, or something along those lines). So when the 5 or 6 of us started WoW for the first time we used the same idea, and I kinda just kep the name for everything.

EzoGooD, if you read it slow enough it almost sounds like "He is so Good" that is a reason i took this name. Also at one point it was just EZO everyone knows that EZ means easy in the online world and the O was for OX , just because I am as big as an OX and strong as one :D so I've been told.

Thinking of changing my name to BaBoO, just because my mother when I was young used to call me BooBoo, So its kind of a play off of boo boo, BaBoO.

Dysz sounds so good however u choose to pronaunce it. In wow ive heard like all types when asking me on vent if i want the loot etc. , dice-Z, dizy, dych etc. haha, heard them all. Keeping it since I figured it out when i was little and have no plan to change. Also its a reference to my RL name.

I think starcraft is all about countering opponents. Always liked the word "counter" so much because of its meaning to out-menuver someone and it fits well with the game :D

My real gaming id is Maisasur- I used to be a huge dude and people were scared of me so some of my friends gave me this name coz its some scary monster... or a big fat dress wearing indian after googling it. Great....

I heard the song "headstrong" on some sc highlights video on youtube, can't find it though anymore... the song wasn't by any means great, but I was not quite sure what "headstrong" meant, so I looked it up in a dictionary:

head·strong [hed-strawng, -strong] –adjective
1. determined to have one's own way; willful; stubborn; obstinate: a headstrong young man.
2. proceeding from or exhibiting willfulness: a headstrong course.

I liked the definition and I think it fitted my terran playstyle at that time- doing all kind of all in rushes to lay terror on my zerg fellows :p

but yea the crap i get from ppl from the song is bit annoying so i might change it... one prospective ID i'm considering is Chewbyshev which is a combination of Chewbacca & Chebyshev - a great mathematician

before that i used different random stuff, because I mainly played in lans with my friends where there's no need to have an ID, things I used were mainly some silly things i picked up from some beavis and butthead episodes and my fav was [GMTA]_HumBug

My last name's Sato, as you could probably guess, and my initials are AWS. At some point in high school I realized that my initials could stand for "A&W Soda," which I thought was pretty funny. So when I needed to change my email, I just thought of rootbeersato, which incorporates all of my initials and still keeps my name somewhere in it.

Stinky Boots. Nickname when I was a Kid was Boots, because of the Shania Twain song and my enormous snow boots. Stinky comes from a guy we use to call Stinky Bart, so to honour my childhood, I named my Id StinkyBoots.

If anyone played wc3 semi-pro, you would have to know NoA)space. He was a professional gamer who had a terminal illness and couldnt move his left hand, couldnt use hotkeys or bind stuff to numbers..yet he beat some of the best with about 80~ apm and won a lot of pro matches. When inverviewed, he just said, "he wanted to make his family proud my being the best wc3 player in the world". The last match he played before he passed away he was losing in a televised event, 0-2..and he played so hard and furious that tears started welling up in his eyes.

always wanting my tag to inspire me before a game, and represent an idea no one else would understand without explanation, i took CrY, to play defiant and hard and to never give up.

cheesy or not, it works.
