kinda random but had a friend with the last name Veon and was like that a cool name but how can i use it without using his name so i just flipped it and then bam you now have Noev.

I took it off of a magic card. I used to use Aether_Storm on battle.net starcraft 1 when I was younger. Eventually it got shortened to Aether.

So I hated these extremely nerdy names like.. darkdragon91, and fireofdeath, etc etc. I thought to myself, I'm not weird IRL, what kind of name could show that. I wanted to show everyone that I was cool, so my friend suggested why not just be named cool. Well that was taken, so the name that I actually use the majority of the time is kool.

In any game where you can pick your name, without worrying if its taken or not, like CS, and basically every other FPS game my name is kool.

rbkl comes from robkool without the o's. I only use that because kool is generally taken.

my real name is johannes. back in the days when i played cs and i needed a nick i transformed my real name into j0h4nN3z. l33t eh?
but time passed, the l33tness forsook me and i wanted something more "mature". so i removed the 0,4,n and 3 and jhNz was left.

now i have nick noone can pronounce, nice.
most people just pronounce it roughly as "jones" though. that's okay

When I first logged onto bnet, my nickname was DDA. Because my name is Didier, but you pronounce it D D A. My friend then created the ID b3m (his name was ben, bem, b3m), and I said, cool, let's have a 3 characters name clan. So another friend created the ID i8u ("I hate you"). Then we opted for 3 characters and a number in the middle. So I switched to d4d (dad). The num83r5 clan was born.
And btw... for those who know me, I am actually going to be a d4d, end of summer...

this has always been the name i've used for everything (email, other sites, etc). I originally made it in like 4th grade? My sister told me to think of something unique and I just thought of shavingcream :| ... 66 has always been my favorite number so i just added it on the end.

come to think of it..after using this name for almost a decade..i should probably change it

saw a wishbone on the top of my oven for a huge long time, never got wish'd upon, always coming up with new names and trying them on each bnet server to make sure it wasnt taken, i decided it to try the name wishbone, it was taken so i added an s to the end, now ppl just name me wish. Which i like, very very very much. Cus im good, and kool, and awesome, oh gawd just plain sexy too and manly. ok next!!

I wanna be a progamer but thought just spelling it correctly wasn't cool enough, so I thought about what letters I can replace with numbers and...tada!

Since the 9 is now the g, I had to go with upper/lower case letters to get the feel of a true 'g'. Although when I say my id, I call myself pro-nine-amer so I don't inflate my ego too much. Most people just call me pro or pro9 though.
