Your comparison is kind of unfair, as there's a big difference with tennis and golf vs mouse control. They're swinging relatively heavy objects at high speeds and it's much harder to keep a proper hold on the racquet/club than it is to hold onto a mouse. Unless you're actually having trouble holding onto the mouse, grip tape on a mouse is overkill. If you do still plan on doing it, I'd say cut out some pieces of a tennis grip and tape those on.

SteelSeries made something similar to what your describing. Be aware that I don't have any personal experience with this particular product though. Edit: As the above poster says tennis griptape would work wonders if the tape itself sticks onto the mouse, can't recommend you any brands though since its been a while since I played.

Maybe try this. Super glue a little button or something that would give you a shelf for your slippery fingers.

Agreed... the sandpaper would get pretty gross eventually... all the dirt and skin and dried sweat cloggin up all the grit

But I don't think it's really necessary to "gripify" your mouse? Perhaps just keep a towel beside your computer and wipe your hands once in a while... o.o

Weren't you the guy that wanted a Salmosa? That one has a non-slip coating on the top but not on the sides.

Don't bother with any "sweet" products that are made for this purpose, just get some medical wrap and put a strip on either side of the mouse and 1 on top. Skateboard idea is awful, would be horrible feeling all day. But next time you buy a mouse the G3 would be a good idea, or the kone.

i just saw the steel grip products but it hink you can make your own cutting portions out of racquet grip, which overall probably is better material in my mind

Sometimes with my current mouse I double click and my mouse just flies right through the window. Mouse still works, but I'm tired of paying for window repairs. ...Oh wait, you're being serious...
