you skipped right over my post after you opened it
so i'll try again:
I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate build 7600, and I can't install my Canon i860 printer drivers. I've tried every driver I could find, and none of them work. I also cannot do the Virtualization Mode (to emulate XP) thing cus my CPU doesnt have Virtualization support.
Is there any I can print from my Windows 7 pc?
EDIT: minor issue compared to above I'm dual-booting Win7 with Windows XP, but I fucked up my Windows XP installation when I tried to re-install XP on top of the existing XP installation (using an older service pack cd, too!). i lost all my installed programs/registry i think, is there anyway i can go back / recover it?
I think I re-installed XP cus I wanted to fix the boot table or something? dont remember
Btw it's really awesome youre helping randomly like this, you are a good guy r1ch

I hope im not too late on this.
A couple of days ago this problem started. I have to click links 2times for them to work. If i click once, it may stay loading forever, but if I click again it loads pretty fast.
My torrents run at full speed, but i have been having some trouble with spotify loading...
More info: I did not install anything new. I ran spybot S&D and hijackthis, and pasted the log in one of those log scanners, nothing found.
It happens in firefox 3.5 and in IE 8. I ran Avira and found nothing.
Is it something that got de-configured? is it my isp? In an argentinian forum, someone mentioned something about DNS, but i didnt understand
thanks in advance.

Weird issue with multiple computers. Internet will disconnect at midnight for a minute or so. Always does this.
My brother's laptop seems unaffected, weirdly enough.
Whatever laptop I used, my uni's Lenovo T61 or my old Toshiba Satellite L10, it always died at midnight.
I checked my router to see if there was something wrong, nothing completely wrong that I could see. The lease time for internet access was allowed for everyday for 0 minutes (meaning 1 day, so internet access SHOULD stay on the entire time). I tried setting the lease date to 9999 minutes but still dies at midnight. Any suggestions?

Taken two minutes later with uTorrent shut down. Thanks for the help, btw. It's much appreciated.
Limit your upload speed in uTorrent, too high an upload will cripple your download rate. Try 70k or something close to 80-90% of your max upload.

Either packet loss on your ISP or your router/modem has crummy NAT implementation. Try ping -c 100 google.com to check for packet loss. Also try bypassing your router if possible.

Apologies to all those whose questions went unanswered, but this thread didn't quite turn out the way I planned. I expected to spend more time actually fixing and working on problems via the remote desktop than replying with at-best guesses to vague problems. Maybe another time...
