I think it's good Cassano stayed so he doesn't gamble on his chance for the world cup.

Ooh, so John Terry did get dropped as England captain in the end for having an affair with Wayne Bridge's ex
I thought that Capello would back him to stay but then again it wasn't that huge a shock considering as he doesn't like too much media attention on stuff like this. So now Rio Ferdinand is captain even though he was banned for 8 months a couple years back, strange

Rio's drug ban was a long time ago and the story was he just missed a random drug testing, he didn't test positive or anything, at least that's the official story. There are plenty of suitable captains on the England squad so it's not a big deal I guess. Locker room chemistry and media pressure is very important to England.

Yeah it looks like the right decision. Cappello knows what he's doing.

The media just like an easy story and this one has it all. Football CHECK Sex CHECK Drama CHECK There we go 1000000 newspapers sold easymode.
The front page of todays Mail STILL had a picture of Jon Terry and a story. This time about how he sold a box at Wembley for £4000... which is probably made up and has nothing to do with his affair or anything else it's just piss easy news and people will read it.
Maybe Tony Blair set this whole thing up because somehow everyone has forgotten he's being questioned at the Chilcot enquiry trying to explain why he took us into an illegal war we didn't want.
