A lot of top end teams are like this too. ManU has many old players that have been on the team for 10+ years but some players they have more worth being sold. They sold Ronaldo for $80 mil to Madrid where hes rotting.... Madrid thought they'd make all the money back by getting far in the champions league - worked out too well for them. Fans will always respect players that are tied to team their entire career but money is money... ronaldo is far from 'rotting' at madrid, in fact he has for the most part been in extremely good form. you could say that kaka has been rotting maybe, but not for ronaldo, not at all. the champions league exit was not his fault either, higuain basically missed two free goals and turned the game against them. Judging by his stats i guess your right. Just watching him play i never see him live up to that 80 mil figure.

tbf ronaldo was never 80 mil in the first place but right now he's def madrid's best player this season with Higuain coming as a close 2nd

even if gerrard has a stellar summer i don't think any club is gonna pay 20m, maybe even 15m for him. he had a poor season by his standards, is near/over 30 and his current club are a sinking ship and in debt.
holgerius ever heard of terry, giggs, scholes? what about batigol leaving fiorentina to join roma? i mean i expect anti-epl bs from you but you're not even trying now.

His control for the goal was unbelievable.
Pretty shocked how easy Fulham's victory was yesterday, Shaktar are still by far the best team they have met so far. But with Hamburg coming that could easily change
Just saw for the second time Hangeland's clearance off the line, bet Wenger wished he had bought him now.

Didn't Real Madrid pay 130 million to get Ronaldo? Maybe that number was in euro's, dunno what currency you guys are talking about but 80 million pounds =/= 130 million euro's. Afaik they paid 90 million for Kaka.

It was definitely £80mil, Kaka was slightly less.

The money problem with Utd is weird. All signs point to budget problems but the owners and Ferguson have repeatedly said they have a big transfer kitty ready if it's ever needed. Ferguson said the reason he didn't buy big last season was because he didn't think he could get any value with the bloated transfer fees these days. He's mostly right since there was really no one worth 30million+ pounds on the market and the ones who were, Ribery, Benzema, etc didn't want to go to Manchester. Letting Tevez go is a mistake in hindsight but he has been playing a lot better than he ever did at Utd. I hope the Glazers leave too but a new takeover seems highly unlikely.
Also yes, I agree Berbatov should be sold, he simply does not fit in. He's also not very clinical either.

I doubt Ronaldo or Kaka went to RM for the money. Most of the time a player chooses a new team because he wants a challenge or because it was his dream to play for said team.
Seriously

<3 Fiorentina. If Roma can just beat Atalanta tomorrow they'll be the new #1.

Messi is not even close to the world's best player.
His Barca teammate is the real one.

messi acceleration and his ability NOT to fall, even though his opponent just stabbed him with a giant sword through his stomach, are just exceptional as you can see in most of this years barca games he has the ability to score goals, nobody else would score that being said, if messi plays not like an alien from another galaxy, there are like 9999999999999 people to step up and win the game and wtf, xavi is ridiculous, honestly these passes he gives are just O.o the whole squad is just O.o
